Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol
Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol
His statements following the recent terrorist atrocities have shown this pathetic excuse for a leader to be an actually bigger danger than I first thought. He has already admitted that faced with nuclear destruction he would not protect us, he has questioned whether the killing of the executioner in chief in Syria is legal and now says he would be against our security forces shooting to kill murderous terrorist reaping mayhem on our streets.
Anybody who votes Labour while this bloke is their leader is a traitor as far as I'm concerned.

Don't talk out of your backside, I agree that some of the words he utters are unpopular and I definitely don't agree with everything he says, but to say all Labour supporters are traitors is pathetic and totally unacceptable. You may as well say that the Tories who sold off the public silver are traitors, but they are not either, they do what they believe in.alftupper wrote:His statements following the recent terrorist atrocities have shown this pathetic excuse for a leader to be an actually bigger danger than I first thought. The thoughts of JC (no not Justin Carney) are not necessarily those of the whole of the Labour Party, he is the leader, but as a democratically elected leader, the party will decide policy.
What JC has done is opened up a public debate, which is positive!

I thought at the time this cynical opportunist would come a cropper and thankfully she is now being taken to task, listen to her squirming evasion on this recent interview.

I don't know, but she was quick to volunteer when she was running for the Labour leadership no doubt trying to attract the right on student types that make up a large proportion of their membership.WF10 wrote:Has anyone?

Maybe some of the 25,000 folk who voted for her in this area have taken some in, by definition they must share her views.
Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol
I must say I'm pleased with the final pair of candidates for the next leader of the Conservative Party / PM
It is in stark contrast to the basket case Lefty Party where quite frankly I struggle to find any individual of PM caliber in the whole PLP

The NHS is in safer hands than it was under the last Labour health minister, The Grim Reaper Burnham.onetiger wrote:well the torys have done a great job with nhs waiting times get longer and longer

HS2 was conceived under a Labour government and has cross party support.
I'm comfortable with benefit cuts, I've worked all my life and have only ever contributed to the exchequer, people won't starve and if they have to give up pay per view so what? At the end of the day if Labour hadn't bankrupt the nation it wouldn't be necessary.

And more borrowing on the horizon to build houses. How left wing of the torts to borrow money to build therefore creating jobs.

Interesting that the Tories our now clinging to the policies of the Blair era in a vain attempt to convince people they are the party of the center ground. Whatever the spin I know full well a Tory only ever comes in sheep's clothing.alftupper wrote:The NHS is in safer hands than it was under the last Labour health minister, The Grim Reaper Burnham.onetiger wrote:well the torys have done a great job with nhs waiting times get longer and longer

I'm no Corbynister but I do know what he will actually do in the unlikely event he gains power. May on the other hand will always do what is needed to make a quick buck (usually at the expense of the working poor), regardless of her protestations.
I can only hope a true party of the center ground comes to the fore...

Centre ground is a subjective term depending upon your point of view. Personally I would not want to see any government that is left of the current one. It is early doors but I'm liking the cut of PM Mays jib. This country needs a low tax modest spend government with the emphasis placed on the individual to make the best for himself, not spoon fed from a socialist state.

Needless to say I'm not surprised you favour a system that provides significant advantages to those that don't really have to do anything to achieve their best. People that think screw you, I'm alright.

Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol
That was not just an election call but a party political broadcast. Labour need to fight dirty, show hospitals that have been closed and demolished, show hospital corridors with old people dying on trollies, show dilapidated schools, show food banks, show rural areas with no transport links, show drug users in the so called affluent areas, throw up Tory links to private healthcare/prisons/schools/pharma/defence.
Show disabled people struggling because of cuts, show kids eating the only decent meal they will get at school, show Boris Johnson acting the d-head, show Jeremy Hunt's financial links to his family and the British Council, show derelict libraries, care homes falling to bits, show the Etons going to school dressed like Hogwarts students, show parents having to buy books for school, show care workers spending 10 minutes with a frail old lady before they have to move onto the next frail old lady, show workers zero hours payslips, show Young Conservatives blacked up/dressed as Nazis/wearing hang Mandela t-shirts.

Guys Guys Guys ! This is supposed to be a Cas Tigers forum and not a way to display your political viewpoints as we all have differing viewpoints and would only start a lot of animosity on the forum - leave it to discuss your points on Cas Tigers and Rugby League in general please.

Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol
By definition anybody voting Labour would be quite happy to see Jeremy Corbyn as PM, how anyone in their right mind can think this is a good idea is beyond me. In fairness I don't think even the PLP does either. Thankfully it isn't going to happen.
