Pop all your general football chat in here. Obviously keep all your respective club chats in your own threads (i.e. Stoke City thread, Leeds United thread etc.).

Why can't we just use the 'All other Footy' thread further down?

The bin dipper boss's rant was a corker and quite stupid whether he was right in what he said or not.

Benitez has dropped a right testicle with his rant at Fergie (anybody remember Keegan losing the plot on sky?), Say what you like about Fergie, but he's the king of mind games and probably believes he has one hand on the trophy after Rafa's rant.

Are they chuff? I still think there are several twists and turns to come. Scum Utd have proved that they're beatable this season, and I reckon they'll get turned over once or twice more this season.

I will have a side bet with you if you wish mate, I am 90% sure they will win it, Liverpool arent good enough, And Chelsea arent all they are made out to be, Fergie has too many options there, 3 TOP strikers, He can play any combination of 4 in midfield and its the best in the league, And they still have Rio Ferdinand to the team who havent conceded in 13 hours - I think they look a solid bet for the league

I'm not saying they're not going to win it mate, but I still don't think they are all that good either - especially away from home.

Derby proved that in the Carling Cup. They embarrassed United.

Half hearted effort for a pot they couldn't care less about, the real scum was the one that turned the Chelsea over at the weekend.

I'd be happy for Victimpool to win it, in fact I'd be happy if any club won it other than scum.

I live with a Man Utd fan and at times he can be so biased it's unbearable, yet it's us that is biased against United.

He claims that Paul Scholes (was) the best midfielder in the world, Gary Neville is a quality right back still etc.

But despite this, I'm actually taking pleasure in Chelsea struggling and Liverpool sitting top of the league (even if it is temporarily).

I agree in principle that I would love to see another team win it, but preferably none of those sides. Arsenal maybe, but it would have to be someone outside of the Big Four.

I don't think Villa will challenge this season, but what a gaffer Martin O'Neill is.Has he ever left a job without his reputation in tact or enhanced?

He was so close to being the Leeds boss, I wish he it had happened.

They sent a second string squad knowing they had the home leg, Of which they will probably run 6 in

Man Utd: Kuszczak, Rafael Da Silva, Vidic, Evans, O'Shea, Anderson (Carrick 74), Scholes (Ronaldo 63), Gibson, Nani, Tevez, Welbeck (Rooney 63).
Subs Not Used: Amos, Giggs, Fletcher, Possebon.

Because that's all second rate youngsters? Put it this way, there's only Welbeck, Possebon, Gibson and Amos who's not played in the Prem this season.

Stop trying to find excuses for them.
