NFL fantasy football

Post by tongo » 24 Jun 2013, 17:27

Hey, i'm thinking of starting a league for the upcoming season. It doesnt start till September but just seeing if theres any interest in it before I set one up.

Last season was the first year and i had very little knowledge on players, but i played and I really got into it. It does take a little bit of commitment as you set a team every week. Also you need to draft which takes about an hour and half.

If your interested let me know.

I'm up for that for sure.

I'm also considering doing a predictions competition if there's enough interest in that.

Looks like there's a few I didn't imagine there would be many. Looking to have an 8 man league which I will set up in the next few days.

The game itself is much better than that of actual fantasy football, as with this you pick your own team , rather than everyone having the same few players.

Knowledge wise last year I only knew a few players but got well into it and started watching more NFL games just to see how my fantasy team was doing.

I'll get a few more people on board then we should be good to get everything set up. If you know anyone that would be up for it then feel free to ask them. The more players the more interesting it gets.

Also Legionited, i'd be up for a predictions comp, would be hard but a good laugh.

Anyone that wants to join go here...

http://fantasy.nfl.com/registration/pri ... Id=1581907

password is castigers

On the NFL fantasy website you will find all sort of article to help with what players you can draft, who you should avoid loads of help on there, you can even do mock drafts, which again can help out loads.

I'll get the league full then will find a time that is best for everyone to have our draft, that will most likely be in August closer to the season.

Yup i would be in, have been doing it for good few years now,, although having said that it doesn't mean i am getting any better at it!! I would set it up as an automated draft though, you can pre-rank your favourite players and its all done for you, after that you can trade with other players or pick up free agents that you want as there is no limit on the amount of changes you can make each week.

I don't know if anyones been checking the league homepage on NFL.com but the draft date is 2nd September, Monday before the start of the season, at 9pm. It should last an hour maybe 90 minutes.

Hope thats okay with everyone, if not let me know and we will see when is a good time for everyone.
