NFL fantasy football 2014

Post by tongo » 13 Jul 2014, 10:03

I will be running fantasy football again this year if anyone is interested.
The league is continued from last year so if you played last year you will still be there.
At the minute im just trying to gage numbers. Last year we ran an 8 team league so if there is more interest I can increase the league size.
The league won't be drafting till the end of August after the pre season games so plenty of times to organise.
If your interested let me know. Cheers

Booooom. Meet the new champion. I didn't know you did one on here. I do 2 leagues on ESPN and am a massive fan of NFl and fantasy. Fantasy football is my life from September to December. Even the mrs and kids come second :/ I'm gunna join up now if I can. Win or lose il be putting effort in until last game of season. Stresses me out when coaches stop playing half way through year.

When are we doing the draft?

Could be cool if we could get some NFL debate going on here more frequently this season too.

Gonna be watching College Football this year too I reckon. Might have to pick a team to follow.

The draft is currently set for August 30th which is a Saturday at 9PM but I can move that to a date and time everyone agrees on.

Would like to see more of a debate about the NFL aswell, as for college games I want to try and get into it but wheres the best place to watch it?

Still won't let me join guys.

Desperate to get involved....

Who's going to Wembley then?? I've got my season pass in the £90 section. Not bad for 3 games. Looking forward to the Detroit and Atlanta game the most. Hoping Miami do Oakland as I'm a Chargers fan and in the final game even though Dallas will win I will be routing for the home team Jacksonville.

InTheKnow I have sent you a league invite so should be good to join now.

Im going to all 3 games, sat in Block 120 which is on the sideline, went to both games last year and the Pats Rams game the year before and sat in the top tier. Great experience, especially with the events before the game to managed to get a photo with the Vince Lombardy trophy.

What's the draft order for fantasy so I can do some mocks?? There's a website where it randomises it and all you do is put email addresses in and it sends draft order direct to emails so everybody knows it has been done correctly. Not saying you would cheat obviously :)

The website actually does that if I recall correctly, you can produce a player list of who you want prior to the actual draft and specify priority positions etc. Makes it easier if you're doing it live and actually possible if you're not around for the draft itself.

I think the site actually lets you do mock drafts too.

The draft order is randomised by NFL.com 30 minutes before the draft I think so no body will know. till draft day. I've done a fair few mock drafts to see what every position can get and been pretty happy with my teams so I hope the real thing is as good lol
