Saints don't look anything special.
Struggling to get on the front foot against a team who have nothing to play for.

Any chance warmsley will get a ban.

Salford not helping themselves but getting absolutely caned for every minor indiscretion. Not seen anything from Sts thus far to cause any concern, but being allowed to boss the ruck

I agree, I think warmsley may be missing against us , BUT the Salford man was plain stupid.

It makes no difference who we play s week today, if we bring our A game then we'll be making the trip over the big hill.

Simple

Doubt it. Not much different to what Watts did other week and he got let off.

I thought the watts incident was different, the Wigan player ran on to his arm/ elbow, I thought warmsley directed his elbow towards the defender.

Be interesting

The panel didn't say Watts should not have been sent off. In fact, they made a 'sending off sufficient' verdict, a decision that supported the the referee's decision to send him off.
Walmsley has not been sent off, so they can't reach that decision this week. Common sense says that if Watts was SOS, Walmsley risks a suspension.
Whereas McIlorum rushed at Watts and got his tackle technique all wrong (he more or less ran into Watts' elbow), Walmsley seemed to look at the defender and then deliberately raise his elbow into his face.
I'd ban him for one game.......

Watts was not charged at all, which suggests the panel felt he should not have walked.

What a let down that was - even though the destination of the 2 points was a bit predictable.

Disappointing game involving 2 ordinary sides. Poorly officiated at times - although he had no option with the sending off.

If we do play Saints next Thursday then it's their defence that we should be worried about - as they showed a few weeks ago when they turned us over. They were flat in attack against 12 men until the back end tonight. They're definitely beatable if we have our A game.

Earlier this evening, I owned up to myself that this season has taken over my life - and it's on hold until next Thursday and, hopefully, the following Saturday......

Wrong .

The panel ruled SOS. (Sending off sufficient) so no official charge but they agreed with the on field ref .

I bet Walmsley only gets a caution. Don't expect him missing next week.

Yes he will play next week, though it would be funny listening to the foot stamping by their chairmen if he was banned!

Completely different to the watts one which was a reaction to a player shooting out of the line at him.walmsley is the Agressor here running at an opponent leading with his non ball carrying arm and hitting him flush in the jaw. IMO it's a red card but I doubt very much the rfl will have the bottle to charge him,it doesn't help when you've got thugs like terry o Connor saying it's ok

In the last Cas-Saints game at The Jungle, Saints defended for their lives, I just don't think we'll see another defensive effort quite like that from them as it was a once in a decade effort, in most matches the defence of a team at the top of their game will be at 80-85%, whereas their defence in that match was probably at 95% so I think as long as we play the game and not the ocassion we'll be fine in the semi final.

That's if we do play Saints and not Hull.

I suspect that EGP will come into play if he has one.
Not seen the incident yet but seems like a lot of fans are singing from the same sheet and it wasn't particularly pretty
