So on to Huddersfield.

Post by old cas lass » 16 Jul 2018, 22:40

For those who can accsess the forum, big game Friday.
Looks like we will have a couple back, mcmeeken and Ellis.
That will put Q back to fullback and Eden back on wing.
Not gonna be easy, hudds playing really well, the new coach have got them ticking so we’ll need to be on our toes.
Like to think home advantage will pull us through, also need to up our game, pretty dire on Friday.
I’m going for a narrow win, especially with Wigan playing saints, this could put us second in the table.
Let’s hope we have a good turn out and the boys do the job.

Boom! Love the optimism.

Based on Fartown's current form, I'm much more cautious. I'd be very happy with any type of winning margin and a solid performance.

Looked at the hudds team last week and thought on paper it looked fairly poor. Think if our pack is strong and we get a nice early try we should be ok let them get a foot hold in the game and broughy get his kicks away could be a tough night. One thing Woolford seems to have done is sort out there d and got them working for each other will be interesting to see if they put ranking back in at half back with brough,

No better chance to push at that top 2. Huddersfield home and Widnes away..... Win them both and its pretty likely we will have the edge on Wigan and Wire for 2nd spot.

I’m sure Daryl and the boys will be going all out for 2 points, which could take us second, should Saints overcome Wigan, although Huddersfield will also be going all guns blazing, as if a win gives them Superleague safety!

I'd go all out to win this and rest anybody with an injury. Certainly webb on the Widnes pitch.

I'm confident we can get the points, but I think it'll be a lot tighter than that

Tough game, Huddersfield are now playing well and I still aren't convinced with us one bit. When we lose it tends to be quite heavy so with Hudds having a strong looking squad out I'll go them by 18.

Huddersfield have under performed in the early part of the season and at the moment are going through apurple patch.
We have achieved a great deal despite some of the doom mongers comments injuries ,no recognised full back recruiting from the championship what is Daryl thinking of?
Win by 28 Milner to run his blood to water on to Widnes to further ennhance our credentials as a top team.

Pathetic- talk about looking for others to do it. Cas need to learn to back up. No imagination - desperate plays - no idea.
