Wonder which of the younger players gets a spot on the bench, actually nice to see one of them get a shot!

Number is up...or is it cas are trying to offload to London...hence he’s not facing them..anyway..tigerfeat wrote:Roberts out with a minor injury ...deary me
good luck lads and especially to chris Clarkson on debut and JON if he makes the 17.
If the performance is 8/10 at least, we’ll win.

Hope foster isn’t injured.
That’s a worry him not being in the 19.

He's the one I'm worried about too OCL, he's massive for us in my opinion. Hope he hasn't picked up a knock thats gonna keep him out for a while. Good luck to Clarkson on debut. See you all down there!old cas lass wrote:Hope foster isn’t injured.

Re: 19 for London
Both Roberts and Fosters knocks could be playable had it been on grass. Maybe being cautious with it being a 3G pitch?

Re: 19 for London
Getting beyond a joke. I thought he'd be OK this week as the weather has picked up. I think he's a fantastic player on his day and capable of turning any game, but patience is wearing very thin with him now. Time to go? Benny out, free up a spot, Gelling in! That'll do megateman wrote:bloody hell surprise surprise Bennys thrown a sickey , the firms I have worked for would be sending him to see if he was up to the job he is employed to do

As much as i like roberts as a player and always have but now i think its time for us to let him go and get someone else in who isnt just robbing a wage of us but soneone whi can play consistant rugby

Foster is the biggest loss, hope to god its not serious.Burratha wrote:"Mitch Clark was helped from the field at the KCOM Stadium and won’t be available for another couple of months while Alex Foster and Ben Roberts also drop out of the squad with minor injuries."
Roberts get shut and replace him asap
Re: 19 for London
Love how people on here think it’s as easy as just “getting rid” of Roberts. We would have to pay him off to leave, unless we could find another club to take him this season on a free transfer.
Re: 19 for London
Maybe we could make him a offer to leave early ...absolutely stealing a wage at the minute

Add another vote for that one, Gelling would be the one to be looking at,especially as the price would be right.derbystiger wrote:Getting beyond a joke. Re: 19 for London
I don’t think nobody’s suggesting we could get rid of Roberts just like that it wouldn’t be easy but there comes a time when club and player have to sit down and do what’s right for all concerned.. pay him off and let’s get someone in who takes to the field all season and not the odd game. We’ve all been patient regarding his injuries but how long can a club stand by him for
Re: 19 for London
Hopefully it Might be as simple as not risking two players who have a had a bad foot injury recently on a plastic pitch.
