Well apparently he got dropped for his drinking problems, i think hes had the ultimatum off TM so hes improved his body shape and fitness and it has really shown in the last 3 games well done to the guy for showing commitment.

shifty was by far and away the best player on the field, only guy in black and amber near him was wainwright. claas act from both today.

I thought Wainwright was particularly quiet to game. Interesting to see how people view the game differently.

very intersting, i thought mike was our best player other than sherwin, saved at least 2 trys and worked consistantly hard all game.

We are forever grateful to Mike having rescued us from Sherwins failed penalty in to touch :)

So what about his tackle in the 1st half, knocking the HKR winger into touch just as he was about to score? Or in the 2nd half where he made a ball and all tackle while 1 against 2..... although to be fair they scored immediately afterwards as our cover didn't get across.

I was one of the few on here who didnt greet Wainwright's signing with derision and he has not let anyone down this season. One of the unfashionable players who quietly gets on with it and makes very few errors. The polar opposite of McGoldrick you could say - the irony being the tattooed one gets a long term deal and Wainwright will probably be released at the end of the season.

i thought Wainright had a good game today-looked solid in defence and didn't put a foot wrong in attack. i also thought Shenny tackled really well and Korky put a lot more effort in but overall sherwin deseved the MoM

Yes that tackle towards the end of the first half was great however i don't think he should have been in that position anyway. He didn't slide a cross and left a terrible amount of space for the KR winger to go around him. Though full credit to him for recovering and i also think he was our second best player behind Sherwin.

Lupton had a decent game but didn't think he was close to MOM.

One thing that Hull KR did today was show us up on the terraces. I bet they weren't far off outnumbering us. Now thats how to follow your team away from home.

It was like having LUFC at Wheldon Road!

The whole defensive line was out of position, none less than Owen who came in to make a big hit but the HKR player (maybe Gene?) managed to get the pass away first. Great effort though and something I didn't fancy he'd be able to do.

I am glad common sense has prevailed with this vote as the club MOM was a joke selection IMO

Sherwin was by far the best player on the pitch

Lupton had a great 1st half, scored one, set up Shenny for his try and forced a knock on from KR. I think he just edged the 1st half over Shifty................. who then at least from an attacking sense had little to do in the 2nd half.

To be fair some played better than others on the day but this season i think everytime we win a game its all the team who should get man of match, because when we've won games we've really competed for 80 minutes and 1 - 17 have'nt failed to produce a good brand of rugby. So this season when we win we should dedicate it to the whole team has wins for us just aren't easy to come by.

Sherwin set up the shenton try, Lupton only had to run and pass the gap was created by sherwin,
Who may i also add wouldnt have just won the award for his attacking but his defence was first class, He hasnt missed a tackle for ages and is really starting to stand up as a captain of this team

MOM and easily ------ AGAIN !!
