WITH exactly two weeks to go to D-Day, Castleford Tigers' players are keeping their eye on the ball.
Tigers will find out in 14 days' time whether they have been awarded an engage Super League licence for the next three years, but fit-again forward Mark Leafa said the team – whose futures depend on the decision – are trying to put that to the back of their minds.
"I think the players are doing what they can on the field and the club have got certain plans for the future as well," he said.

Its nice to see comments from Leafa. He's normally quite quiet on the media front. A welcome return as he is one of the few players that doesnt normally get all the recognition he deserves, and one that puts 100% into what he does when he is on the field.
I dont think the franchise will be completely out of the minds of the players. Especially as it will have a huge impact on every players future at the club. Maybe they are certain of a franchise next season, who knows.
