Do you really think Cas would merge with one of our closest rivals? We already get enough hassle when they pay a visit let alone having to stand with them.

Too much history separates Cas,Fev and Wakey to even consider merging them.

Would have to be a completly new franchise application if our current teams went bust or folded. No Wakey/ Ca or Fev fan would support "Calder United".....

Tell you what, lets get everybody to merge !!!!!

Leeds/Bradford/Hawks
Cas/Polecats
Saints/Wigan
Wire/Widnes
Cods/KR
Fax/Hudds
Catalans/London - What a home crowd that would be !
Haven/Barrow/Workington
Fev/Travellers
Batley/Dewsbury
Swinton/Salford
Rochdale/Oldham

There we go, piece of rubbish, took me thirty seconds, it takes the RFL to decide what shaped ball we should use at least a month

Problem solved ! :D

I usually say welcome to new guys on here, but I'm not so sure this time.
What a strange post!
You're not a Capper in disguise are you?
Are you a whinging Whino trolling on here?
This has to be a joke!
There's no way a Cas fan would seriously consider merging with anyone, let alone the flat cap brigade.

I would be happy to merge with anyone as long as we were called Castleford, played at a fancy stadium at Glasshoughten and played in amber and black...

How about a deal similar to Hull/Gateshead &Sheffield/Hudds? Fev Lions could then become the 'professional' side in NL2, making use of the Post Office Stamp.

Any money from the RFl could be used to fund this new, bigger, dynamic Club.

Sometimes you have to think outside of the box and come from the planet Zorb! ;)
