I would love to see Catic in a Cas shirt again next season. I agree he does seem to be passionate about his game. He lifted the game, alongside sarge when he came on.WHELDON-ROAD-END wrote:I would hope, he certainly looks excited with being with Cas.
And every week whatever happens always plays with determination and passion as though he was a local lad!

I can see why, i was quite bemuzed when we signed him and i was scratching my head. He never seemed that good really for Wakey.fig of whitwood wrote:Catic was very good today, the Wakey fan's couldn't believe it was the same guy that once played for them.As for Dorn, how can we let him go
But what a guy he is and player!
Hes totally proved me wrong.
He's a proffesional and a good one at that!
Don't want to be a party pooper, but lets put things into perspective. There is no way I would want to sign anyone merely on today's game. I want to see it over a period of time before committing and this is as regards anyone. Wakefield for anyone that doesn't know have been in absolute turmoil, with so much trouble in the camp and players fighting and squabbling for nigh on 2 weeks.
At the end of the day we're still bottom of the league and out of our 6 wins, two have been against teams when they've been in turmoil, namely Warrington and Wakey, one against Leeds the week after they and Melbourne had absolutely battered the hell out of each other, no matter what anyone says. Johnny Hepworth told me before that game, that none of their players could train the week after, and spent all their time on the treatment bench and on the massage table leading up to our game.
One of the others was against Quins who had 5 men suspended and another 3 or so injured. This is not being condemnatory it's just stating fact, and it's borne out by the equal fact that after every one of our wins we've been brought rapidly back down to earth the game after. We've not won 2 on the trot at anytime.
We hammered Quins only to be hammered ourselves by Huddersfield the game after, yet people get euphoric after every win. Again lets not get carried away until we start doing it on a more conistent basis. I wouldn't want to sign Catic merely on today's performance. There's some far bigger overseas fish available and if we can get one we should.
Unfortunately due to our own self inflicted present economic restrictions, we in all likelihood will not be able to net one and will have to settle for someone of a lesser pedigree. But lets weigh all the options up first, and not jump straight in and make a signing based on the euphoria of a win against our most bitter rivals, who quite frankly were there for the taking, no matter who they played today.

So I said to the Taxi driver, "King Edwards Close". He replied "It's alright we'll lose him at the next set of lights".
