Post by Jack Bauer » 11 Sep 2008, 01:51

North Queensland Cowboys player Sione Faumuina has been charged with wilful damage and disorderly behaviour at a nightclub in Brisbane's West End.

Police say the 27-year-old was arrested after throwing a glass bottle at a mirror in the Boundary Street bar around 1.30am today.

they are the equivelant to our football stars in the UK, they think they are real big timers, i've seen it first hand. they think they own the place over there and tey need pulling down a peg or two.

there has been some cases recently where members of the public have been setting players up such as the lad at wests, benji marshall a lad had his phone ready to take a pic when his mate shoved benji marshall promting a reaction from him. his photo was taken and sold to papers trying to earn a quick $.

this Sione Faumina sounds like he'll be lucky to get here at this rate.

Lets not talk silly about this

He hasnt killed anyone, He got drunk and threw a bottle -- Tbh he probably is acting like this as he knows he isnt there next year -- Either way TM has a big job trying to tame him next year

A drinking ban of some sort seems its going to be the only option available

Agreed. I'd love to see him play but I can't see him lasting the year. Sign Catic back up in his place.

Possibly but I don't think anybody can deny that he is a risk and a big one? Why take that risk?

SPend our money on people with a decent track record who TM can concentrate on coaching - not worrying about his off field antics

Lets talk serious here -- he got drunk -- I know its un-proffesional and all but its not murder

He just maybe didnt like the way he looked, Or thought he deserved a crack -- So he used the pain free method -- And smashed a mirror

Not sure about anybody else but I just want a squad of players who TM can concentrate on COACHING and not worrying about them off the pitch - why are we risking money on him.

Was he really really cheap or something?
