The questionis why hasn't he played for us. he showed some glimpses of form during the last 2 games.yorky wrote:the problem is, he will probably play for huddersfield like korki can play!
why he didnt want to play for us i dont  understand, but i'm glad hes gone!
It will be interesting if a different coach gets something out of him
MY CLUB. MY CAS
Was told yesterday Hudders had signed Korky and that we're paying 20k of his contract.
We've definitely signed Feather and I certainly had my reservations about that, due to injury problems. We have though got him on a 1 year deal only and cheap, as Bradford are also having to pay him up.
So he won't be costing us much if he does happen to break down again. Would still be no consolation though as we'd be left with a man short in the squad.

So I said to the Taxi driver, "King Edwards Close". He replied "It's alright we'll lose him at the next set of lights".

That's what I heard originally from Feather himself, then on Monday he said that he had re-signed with Bradford.Bengal wrote:We've definitely signed Feather and I certainly had my reservations about that, due to injury problems. 20k to Hudds, 68k left for us to spend on committed players and a quota spot now free.
While disappointing we have had to do this it seems a decent way of getting us in a position to improve the squad...which is what we all want to see.
Lets hope we don't have a deal like this creep up on us again.

We're paying 20k to Korky not Huddersfield. As for paying all the contract. We also by the way had to pay a sum to Mason when he left us.pontetiger wrote:i would rather keep korki for another year than pay 20000 pounds to huddersfield. keep him for another year then get shut and sign andy lynch. if any team wants him then they should take all the contract,
Wigan paid a third of Danny Sculthorpe's contract, the year he was with us. So we've benefitted from it too.
It's up to us be more careful and professional when we're signing players and have a more realistic valuation of their true worth. You cannot possibly expect another club to take a player off your hands for the same amount, just because you paid over the odds.
If someone tried to sell you a car and said, "I paid well over the odds for this but I want back what I paid for it" what are you going to say to him. Two choice words no doubt, 4 letters and 3. Why should a RL player be any different.
I also wouldn't mind betting we'll end up in the same situation again in the future.

Well he told me this on MSN yesterday, and he said what Bengal has said above, that we have had to pay Korki 20K to get rid.chodbin wrote:Lets face it nobody knows if this deal is on or not untill Dettoriman comes on and gives us details of negotiations/wages/compensation/contract length or reasons behind leaving/arriving.
