Not a bad signing at all - one year deal seems sensible option with his injury background - full story is covered on Casforum.co.uk with quotes from TM and Chris

Smart move for both parties here, Because Chris is a risk with his injuries but if he proves himself fit and able to make a difference he could earn an imporved deal for next year - Its always better to have your players playing for a contract rather than sitting comfortable on 4 year deals
As for Korkidas, I wouldnt have thought it would be too long in coming before his depaprture is announced

Loyalty Costs Nothing !
Smart move as you say DT, of course the downside to1 year deals is if that he does run into some good form, others will be sniffing around come negotiations for extending his contract, but have to agree in Feather's case, as he does seem to have had more than his share of injuries, hopefully this will be behind him and he is the right kind of age to really make an impact, as most forwards tend to have their best years in their late twenties.dettoriman wrote:Smart move for both parties here, Because Chris is a risk with his injuries but if he proves himself fit and able to make a difference he could earn an imporved deal for next year - Its always better to have your players playing for a contract rather than sitting comfortable on 4 year deals

Could prove to be a great signing.
