I'm not sure about this one if I'm being honest - Deano has never stayed anywhere very long when he's been working somewhere as a coach - suggests to me things go wrong behind the scenes. I really hope I'm wrong though. It's a massively important job now - especially as youth development carries as much weight as a new stadium now in the RFL's eyes.

excellent appointments.

Is Diesel now beggining the proper grooming for head coach in years to come?

Great to see him back at the club.

Also good luck to Chezzy.

Glad to see Masky leave, he was in the MR band of person.

Robbo out - Deano in.

If that doesn't get me to renew the season ticket, nothing will!

Fantastic news.

Just as a point of interstest, which of the two positions do people think is the highest ranking?

I only ask as in the debate on a Reserves/U21's awards do, people seemed to think this level didn't warrant anyting as it was in effect a stop gap between U18's and first team.

I would say the U18's carries more weight hence the reason Deano is in that role the reserves are exactly that back up for the first team the u18's are still learning and being preped to make the step up

One thing about Deano is that he's always been able to get the best out of his young lads - like he did with the U21's a few years ago when they won the title. With such players as Craig Huby and Michael Shenton in that team, just look where they are now. He can certainly bring some good young lads through.

u18s carries far more importance than the u21s/reserves.

i think its a good appointment for us getting dean back,we have a good group of players at u18s and plenty more where they came from coming through the scholorship system and its also very important that they get the right guidance too ready to make the step up to acadamy level.

Good appointment, Deano will be very "hands on" and i don't think you struggle to come from behind this season. ;)

It was the 18's mate he had success with.

Pathetic unfounded and potentially defamatory post.

Saying that you probably know all about it given you are "rubber legs"
