There are two kinds of settlement one that is agreed between the two parties and only the two parties know it's contents. The second is where the agreement is seen and signed by the judge which means the agreement can be discussed openly. So it will depend which agreement was reached
Listen to Steve Gill and see the difference between the two. One is filled with arrogance the other a measured response from a respected individual. I don't think I need to tell you which is which

Unbelievable arrogance. Fuming listening to the self-righteous crap spouted here. Total lack of accountability. Making their mouths say owt and typifying everything that's wrong with modern buiness and politics. How he can say "you'll notice how we kept quiet and made no comment" is absolutely laughable. Complete toilet.

What is This fella taking, he must be on something, he recons Sale offered Cas £200k, but Cas have an email saying they offered £50k, has a good will payment, The on going part of this is the RFL, and Clarke. A dishonest, club, a dishonest, coach, and a dishonest player. Then we have Clarke, lets hope the RFL revoke his licence to be RL agent.

What did everyone expect, Sale to come out, admit fault and apologise? They say Cas "went legal" too quickly. Nonsense.
They went legal when Denny didn't turn up for work, when he'd been publicly associated with Sale and after Diamond sent the email withdrawing the offer stating that they were confident DS could walk from his contract. Additionally, Cas went legal against DS for breach of contract, after he breached his contract!

So if Cas fired Solomona as Diamond repeatedly proclaimed to the press last year why have Sale just spent £200k + costs + legal fees of their own on a free agent? Either Diamond is a financial imbecile or a bare faced liar. Both, probably.

Just outrageous.
Cas have accepted an offer and moved on. Sale have bitterly lashed out and insinuated that Cas have not got much benefit from the deal. Based on the reactions from both clubs, I think anyone with any sense should see who is the content party with the outcome here.
Sale approached someone under contract and have been made to pay the cost for being unprofessional and showing a real lack of morals.
They should hang their heads in shame before the court case, during the court case and even after it. It is clearly just an angry club lashing out against a well-run, professional club. Instead of trying to take players under contract they should consider getting advice on how to be a sports club.

In view of some of the statements made by Sale Sharks regarding the actions by Cas, without getting into a 'slanging match, I do feel that someone at the club should be replying to these statements, and repudiating the outrageous comments my these two blinkered idiots

Even the Sale fans are embarrassed by the statement and are calling for it to be taken down!

Their arrogance is beyond belief, telling Cas how they should have responded to their approach for DS, as if their club is somehow superior and how we should simply have accepted the inevitable and sold to them. The fact that we held the registration and were under no obligation to accept any offers seems to have bypassed them, as does the actions of Diamond in attempting to coerce us to take a hit and sell on the cheap. The relationship between DS and Cas broke down because pound signs were brandished by Sale and Clark, hence DS attempting to quadruple his salary not long after he signed an extension. The consolation for me is that, reading their forum, their fans haven't fallen for the spin.
