Most memorable try of the season.

Post by corvusxiii » 13 Aug 2017, 23:49

For a few years now I've being going down the lane to see marvellous things. But what is your favourite try or moment?
For me it was Junior v Leeds, smashing and grinding through the defence before a miracle pass to Luke. Surrounded on all sides with the fullback closing in...hang on fullback is history but still no options left. A (apparently)nothing kick to Minickin for a super pick up and a try. Dont care if you're Aussie, football, intergalactic jizzball or what. That was stunning. Remember thinking 'no chance'. And yet...
What are faves?

Jesse at Wigan - he isn't the biggest but he stormed up the guts of them and smashed it down under the sticks.

It wasn't the flashiest try of season but it was a real statement of intent - plus we sounded great on TV from the stands.

The try sums up our season for me - he sums up what we are about.

I''ll always go Eden vs Widnes.

The kick to the corner and the one handed catch and put down was awesome.

Jy v Catalans

Came just at the right time to edge in front and a finish that any player in the world would have been proud of...

Harsh

His try at home to Widnes this year was very similar and kick started our comeback. Sadly he got injured in the act of scoring.

It was Luke Gale that slapped the ball down (and did his awesome strutting celebration), but other than that, I agree.

I've thought the Pub was going to cave in at this point!

But we did only pay a fee after he proved himself worthy
