Re: Crucial Fullback Role
Before we all start throwing ourselves off the nearest bridge, let's just take a step back and look at the big picture - one man doesn't make a squad. We adapt our plays, we change our systems, and we go again. We'll win or lose, but we've got to just get behind them because this will be hurting the squad more than us.
Re: Crucial Fullback Role
When we played Hull with a weakened side I thought Greg had a good game at full back and I think that's were he will start on Saturday

Correct Mr G.
Re: Crucial Fullback Role
All you wanting Monners. Give your head a wobble. Imagine him trying to get around the back in attack from side to side. We certainly wouldn't create any numbers ! It will be Greg.

Greg to full back monas to wing jy to miss out for me.
On a wet and breezy Manchester night who do you want up against hall for the high kicks to the corner? It’s gotta be monas

He'd go round monners 10 times as fast then ](*,)
We all know the situation isn't ideal. But it's the position we've been put in.

But they have Ashton Golding - who's bang average, or young Jack Walker, who is in experienced. I trust our team and I trust Greg.lurcher wrote:cast your mind back to how easily shaul went past greg twice in the hull game.
The key is to keep turning Leeds around and make them kick from their own half.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!
Re: Crucial Fullback Role
Correct Eden or JY both have more experience than the 2 Leeds lads and both of ours are better.HuddsTigers wrote:But they have Ashton Golding - who's bang average, or young Jack Walker, who is in experienced. Keep Leeds pinned back and they wont have too many attacking kicks for Eden to deal with.
Re: Crucial Fullback Role
This close to the game you want the minimum of disruption. Eden to Fb, Jy on the wing, rest of the side unchanged.

Re: Crucial Fullback Role
actually I think they've only got mcwhiner capable of putting bombs up so we'll have to pressurise him. moon is certainly no tactical kicker.

Re: Crucial Fullback Role
Too much disruption so close to the game for me that. I see what you are saying and if this was a league game you may be correct. Too much game prep has gone now to change so many key players.

Re: Crucial Fullback Role
Got to be Eden - JY on wing and keep the disruption to a bear minimum.
It takes some believeing that we are actually even debating this!
I knew things were going too well!!!

Re: Crucial Fullback Role
For ZAC to put the club and fans in such a position , he ought to hang is head in shame, he looked to be really enjoying himself on and off the field, It was a big decision to leave the England Full back out of the squad , but cometh the moment cometh the man, here is hoping Greg Eden gets the MOM stepping into ZACS shoes, our club is bigger than any one man , COME ON YE FORD

If Daryl had tjis in mind I think he would have t. holmes or trueman in the squad to cover 6/9.TheSheriff wrote:Roberts at 1, McShane at 6, Milner 9 and Massey 13
