I'm Cas until I Die!!

Was it our worst performance ever?? Yes! Did we have disruption the week building upto the final?? Yes!

Did you ever expect to be in the final of the super league??
Did you expect to win the league with ease?
Are you confident that we are the best team in our league??

Did we win practically every award at the MOS event??

Has it been a good year for the Tigers??

Make no mistake... We are inexperienced when it comes to the do or die games, but this is just the start of the small town club taking over......COYF!!

Cas winning the league was expected.. They had and still have the best full strength side in the league, absolute bottle job tonight though. Leeds weren't anything more than average but Cas just kept giving them the ball.

Il still be supporting cas next year and the year after no matter what they do but as a fan its hard to take players not turning up on big occasions when we have built all year towards this and let the fans and most importantly the shirt down

Of course i’ll renew, goes without saying. The season has been a good one. But it doesn’t disguise the heartbreak i’m feeling right now going out with such a wimper and also sheer anger at a certain member of the squad.

I can't believe such a poor side has won the grand final. Crazy that.

Shame cas never turned up

Right then, here we go. Are we rugby league fans or are proppng up our empty lives with some one else's efforts. Its' sport. These things happen. I'm not remotely enhanced or diminished by the result of the GF. Lovely couple of hours down the lane this afternoon. One month into next season there will be calls for the sacking of DP. Personally, as disappointed as I am with the result I will still watch rl. I've had a great session in the Junction and you know what. Looking forward to the next match. Once we were average, we will be average again. See you down the the lane. Cheers.

The reality is that Cas are the Champions. We won the league at a canter, in EVERY other sport that makes us the Champions!
Leeds won two games on the bounce and are crowned Champions, ridiculous (yes it is sour grapes- but it is also common sense)

If Rugby League wants to get better coverage from the national media then we need to sort out our trophies.
Challenge Cup Winners; fine
Super LEAGUE Champions (the team on top of the league after all the regular season games have been played)
Keep the play offs and the Old Trafford final - give it a new name -Grand Final Winners would do

The reality is we're not. We don't play every other sport and whatever people to believe are the rights and wrongs mean nothing.

I'm happy to keep the current arrangements
We just have to play the game next season and use the rules to our advantage
It means that we just have to finish in the top 4, use our winning semi experience and we are at Old Trafford again

I'm sure many, like me, are still hurting and I for one will never forget these feelings.

I can only hope the players feel exactly the same and use the pain to fire them on to greater things. There's certainly no cause for moaning and groaning at the players, club, Powell or Uncle Tom Cobbly 'cause that will achieve nothing.

I have now watched the game several times and for me it simply came down to Leeds' style of paly suiting the conditions. If five drives and a kick are all you need to win the GF then so be it but on reflection, things could've been slightly different.

Briscoe's second try was the result of a massive forward pass and Eden had the ball knocked out of his grasp in the process of scoring. 18-12 would've put a very different perspective on the game but you get nowt with if only's.

Here's to next year and a new campaign to support.
