Evalds or O'Brien I woukd take at FB. Kopczak too. As for the rest mentioned would steer well clear.
Hope we don't shuffle existing players and sign a FB from Aus if necessary.

Personally I'd much prefer an established full back.

Roberts blows hot and cold. Superb on his day, but extremely error prone when it's not his day. Last thing we need is an error prone full back IMO. Neither Eden or Roberts are reliable enough and both are much more effective in their established roles.

Completely agree - this is not a position where you can just make do.

Who knows Eden may yet find the consistency to be a full back Powell brought him in originally there he only played 3/4 games there this year probably didn’t do a great lot of practise there maybe full pre season he could suprise us the worry of that was to happen would be our lack of hight on the wings If was low minkin and jy? It’s shame that the investigation with Zak could go on months.

it looks like every one on here wants a full back of the peg , all these lads mentioned had to start at an earlier age some club gave them their chance, we run an under 19s what for if we don't give them their chance, we have a number of friendly's coming up before the start of the season let us try our under 19s full back in them, two rookies were given their chance this year both scoring 3 tries each on their debut Trueman under 19s and OGODO who as been on loan

Big difference between playing young players sparingly in games of limited importance and expecting a young lad to step up and be first choice full back in his first season.

No problem with that except that if, after the friendliest, it is apparent that Callum Turner (the under 19 full back) isn't up to the mark, it may be too late to find anyone to plug the gap.

Not sure what the answer is, perhaps it's best left to Daryl.

Walker started the season behind Golding, he made his debut mid season (against none SL opposition), he has been eased into the role and appears to have moved up the pecking order above Golding in recent weeks. He has progressed beyond expectations as opposed to having expectations placed on him by starting the season as 1st choice fullback. So yeah introducing a under 19's full back as Leeds did with Walker isn't a bad call.

Walkers a pretty exceptional talent, most players are eased in in this way but very few will progress as quickly as he has. Leeds have no doubt been pleasantly surprised.

So introducing Callum Turner pre season would be throwing him under the bus? And why can't he be a exceptional talent? He's in the England academy. Must have summat about him.

Who said introducing him was throwing him under a bus? Introducing him as a principle full back is hugely risky though and I'd unlikely to be a successful strategy.

He may be an exceptional talent but very few under 19 players are physically and mentally ready for the weekly demands of a full season of Super League. Walker, if that's the basis for your arguement, has played about 14 games this year.

Introducing Turner pre-season would be sensible, giving him a chance in a CC game against none SL opposition would be sensible and considering him for further invilolvement based on his performance in these games would be sensible. Expecting him to step into the 1st team from round 1 and play 30+ SL games wouldn't be sensible.

I think it's about picking the games we try them in and being too reliant on them in the early stages of their careers though.
