Not impressed by our (lack of) action in the transfer market at all.
Do you really think that our coaching and leadership staff have no plan in place, and are intending to weaken us?

Have faith.

I am sure in the not so distant future some signings will be announced our coaching staff have been reported to be down under so I don't expect the signings to be announced till they return, getting back to Hock some of our fans are wanting to sign him the lad when is mind is set right is a good player, but what a penalty machine

We knew this back on presentation night. Monaghan, Larroyer and Million were all released and announced back then

So we have lost

Chase
Larroyer
Lynch
Monoghan
Million
Holmes
igbinedion
Patrick
*Hardaker

We must have loads of room on the cap given only Wardle and Lo have come in
LAST SEASON

Chase not really missed
Larroyer average at best
Lynch never played big minutes
Monaghan 4th choice winger
Million looked ok in a pre-season friendly
Holmes fair player but any better than Trueman ?
Igbinedion never got near 1st team
Patrick 7 games off the bench

Obviously Zak will be a big loss but other than him what are we worrying about ?

We are in the enviable position of having a very strong starting 17, with some good cover and plenty in the cap to bring in 3 or 4 decent players.

I think that Wardle and Lo will more than cover the loss of Larroyer and Monners so we realistically need a full back and a couple of props.

We have never been in a better position to attract quality players (standing of team, quality of play, level of support, atmosphere at WR, chance of winning silverware).

I'm sure that DP knows what he's doing, who he would like to bring in and how to approach next season.

DP may also be going to watch the World Cup to see if there's anyone worth picking up too.

Ellis for chase/Holmes
Wardle for Larroyer
Lo for monaghan

All in all a step up but still short.

Loving all these arm chair experts that know better than dp. We had a massive squad last year and truth told some players stagnated so not replacing every one that leaves isn't gonna or needs to happen. I'm sure the quality will come in time so calm ya keyboards and let the people who know what they're doing do exactly that.

Yeah Flat Capper. I bet nobody else is doing that?
Of course they will. But if you have cap space spare and also looking long-term, it's good for succession planning. It's also good to see who can cope with a higher standard/intensity of rugby.

It's good scouting. I'd rather have a coach who takes an interest and knows what he's doing, all about players, and his own research, than doing some of our recruitment like pre-2012  :D

Here here, Cas must be a big pull to players wanting to compete for the top rather than trying not to be relegated.
