Re: Gary Lo
According to league express cas have had to pay out to bring him home from the tornament.
Not sure what that means and why it’s cost us.

Re: Gary Lo
May be he as had to have a sub, I don't think the wages that the lad as been paid at Sheffield would run to a return ticket to Australia
Re: Gary Lo
Png refused to pay for his air ticket back to england presume he couldnt afford it himself so cas stepped in and paid it ...old cas lass wrote:According to league express cas have had to pay out to bring him home from the tornament.

Re: Gary Lo
I would claim I know what happens in these situations but I'm fairly certain that any player we bring over from Oz is supplied with air fare(s). Whilst I appreciate GL has just finished with the world cup, what would have happened if he wasn't involved in it at all?

Re: Gary Lo
In the article above we have also signed Callum Bustin who as been at the club since June, he will be then loaned out for the season to Bradford Bulls, anyone know anything about this lad ??

Just don't make sense to me does that.
He can play prop.or center.
It's like asking Andy Lynch to play center.... baffled.
Re: Gary Lo
it does seem a bit strange saying a lad is either a PROP or Centre, I have to go back along time I think it was in the fifties that we had a player named Kenny Pye who was a scrum half later he became a prop. Kenny must have ate all the pies
Re: Gary Lo
i was at hull kr when we were playing them & ken took a swing at the opposition prop as they were packing down & he broke his arm, he was a big lad!gateman wrote:it does seem a bit strange saying a lad is either a PROP or Centre, I have to go back along time I think it was in the fifties that we had a player named Kenny Pye who was a scrum half later he became a prop. Re: Gary Lo
Harvey Howard played for Widnes on the wing for a session. The next season he was prop. I still mystified how you can put on that much muscle in an off season legally.

Re: Gary Lo
Jamie Bloem changed shape after his initial forays with Cas.
Re: Gary Lo
Mike McMeeken, Franki Mariano, two of the biggest players we had at the club, and either could switch from the forwards to the centers or wing, the same with the Wigan forward Clubb, he was the same, a center at London.
