Re: Gary Lo
Reminds me more like a Henderson Gill type or even a dessie Drummond style. Would be very happy with that!gateman wrote:A good strong runner Justin Carney type

Re: Gary Lo
With fulltime superleague training he is going to be a beast. Still a little eough round the edges but nothing that isn’t coachable relatively quickly.
Re: Gary Lo
i like what ive seen of him so far & im sure he will enjoy the atmosphere at the jungle & i think he will soon become a crowd favorite. be interesting to see what squad number he gets?

Re: Gary Lo
I thought he was awesome today.
I would love to seeing a right side with Roberts feeding Webster and Lo next season!

I wonder if we've had to pay decent money for him to secure the deal in face of competition

Re: Gary Lo
The original announcement on both cas and eagles' sites said he would be loaned back when not needed. Can't see that being very often if he carries on playing like he is atm.Mysterio wrote:I wonder if we've had to pay decent money for him to secure the deal in face of competition

Re: Gary Lo
Had to agree with my mate last night when he said, ' I can't see Lo flying through the air with the greatest of ease like Jy or Eden'. We are jumping the gun presuming he is a shoe-in for a regular wing spot.

Re: Gary Lo
One thing, he is playing left side and did for Sheffield. Does he replace Eden there or does it mean Eden to fullback?
Re: Gary Lo
No, Roberts to full back I am 99% sure on that one.

Webster or Wardle can rotate into the second row if required.

Cook
McShane
JSL
Holmes
McMeeken
Milner
Bench
Millington
Moors
Massey
Wardle/Webster whoever don’t start.
Top 4 team to me that.
Re: Gary Lo
I like the signings so far although I would be really happy if we signed a good recognised full back so we don’t have to move Roberts.fingers crossed
Re: Gary Lo
It seems like most of our fans are willing to play any first teamer at full back, CAS have currently the GB under 19s full back at the club, I would give him a try in the friendly's and see how he goes, Leeds tried Walker Wigan SAM Thomkins when they were still playing under 19S they didn't do too badly
Re: Gary Lo
I’m all for that mate
Re: Gary Lo
Tomkins played 1 in the first team as an under 19 in the cup against lower league opponents I think we will see a few of the lads from the 19s play a handful of games throughout the season. But I can’t see any of them being handed any shirt between 1-17 when the squad numbers are released.

Re: Gary Lo
Lo would get a starting number for me over minikin way hes been playing in the world cup
Re: Gary Lo
We clearly have most of Hardackers reputed £100,000 salary to spend, even after the Cory Aston signing (in League weekly today again) But, if the club cannot find a replacement fullback who would be better than Roberts or Eden (and be available!) then surely it could be better used strengthening the squad elsewhere?Scoopage wrote:I like the signings so far although I would be really happy if we signed a good recognised full back so we don’t have to move Roberts.fingers crossed
