Leigh _ it was a delight to go there in 2017, Free parking in all surrounding car parks, five minute stroll to the away turnstile. Cas victory, walk back to the car, straight out and on the motorway system within a few minutes.

Having not seen the plans for traffic relief , I travel to the Escape via the Normanton bye pass is there any plans for access to this road from the M62 ?? if there is this it would take some traffic away from the bottle neck were the proposed stadium is going to be built

No you will just be able to join whistler drive from cutsyke roundabout when they build the new link road later this year. So will be able to access ground if m62 at junction 32 is closed

I think the video is an actual existing shopping centre in the US and it’s just showing what they intend to do based on that.

They have spoken about visiting places in the articles above that they want to replicate and bring across to the UK.

Watched it again, I believe the rendered parts are Axiom and the real parts have the name of what shopping centre it's from at the bottom of the screen. So if that's the case the Monsoon/Tissot parts are Axiom and from the renders, Primark is ridiculously huge.

The shopping centre footage is from Les Quatre Temps in Paris. Monsoon (Accessorize) and Tissot are both there.

Found this out from the description of the Axiom video on their FB page:

“AXIOM DIGITAL
We have been working with Admemori, one of the world leaders in digital screen architecture and production and we intend to deliver a unique digital experience at Axiom. We have visited their Les Quatre Temps installation in Paris and think it is the most innovative and emotionally engaging use of digital technology we have seen in any shopping experience. Watching shoppers standing agog, arms stretched out filming these amazing digital screen installations. This is the definition of ‘instagrammable moment’.

New application submitted changing an element of the store.

Next was due to provide a garden range of 557sq m but has now said they don't want the extra space. As such, the new application retains this for a garden centre area but separate from Next.

That aren't messing about on the adjacent ALDI site. Been past today and the base is just about finished.

I also had a good look at the new advertising flags at the front of the site entrance for Axiom - Wakefield Council have now got their's in as well.

I think we should have a flag there with a picture of peter box's head on it, although jinj would probably prefer it on a stake. lol

john wells gives a full page interview in league express explaining his new job with cas tigers. on the new ground he says building is due to start on the new stadium in the 3rd quarter of 2019 and we should be ready for playing there for the start of the 2021 season. on wheldon road he said he doesn't envisage it being sold as we don't need to as income streams have risen greatly. he thinks it would be a valuable training facility.
