Done a great job. I was sceptical at first but he's proved me wrong massively.
I look forward to seeing Steve down at Cas games in the future.

Jon Wells appointment is a good one. He speaks a good game, is knowledgeable and is very passionate about Cas. Always loved his reaction when he scored against Bradford in 2002 in front of the Wheldon Road end (it's on YouTube!)

PS Is he bringing his touch screen? 8)

Great bloke Steve Gill.
Gives his all to the club so I hope there are many pages of thanks for him on here than there were of speculation and negative comments from so called supporters who really don't know but are happy to stir things.
Carry on the good work Mr Gill

Surely this interview ends any speculation of why he's going. The time is right!

Good luck Steve, you steered the ship to the clubs biggest games in the past 50 years, or even in the history of the club. That cannot be denied.

Thanks a million Steve.
I hope we the fans get an opportunity to show our appreciation maybe an appearance at half time .
So you can see that your achievements have been truly recognised.
Good luck sir and thanks again.

I think we as fans will always be indebted to Steve. The hard work him and his team have put in to turn the club around in such a short space of time has been immense. Running a club must be one of the most stressful jobs going but he has done it with great dignity, humour and most importantly in my opinion....integrity. 5 years is a long time doing a job of this magnitude and he deserves a rest and to be able enjoy the product of his hard work on the field for a while.

Looking forward, i think splitting his role into 2 now gives the club every opportunity moving forward, MG can focus on the business side and really drive that forward, while JW can help DP and the staff to improve standards further on the rugby side of things.

Again, thanks Steve and enjoy your downtime.

On sky sports hes about as knowledgeable as my cat. He’s trying to complicate a very simple game.Hes the best one on there though which says a lot about the low standard fare they are serving up. How does Daryl feel about this new acquisition?

As far as I can see we lost a genuinely nice man who cares about the club and the town. If he’s bitten the bullet for the Hardaker stuff and recruitment disagreements then it’s a very sorry state of affairs. All the best steve and enjoy some rest.

Well something has happened for this to take place. I doubt the club will ever tell anyone so it is probably the end of the matter.

As with Hardaker it is time to thank SG for his efforts and move on. Nobody is bigger than the club.

I would just like to add that sometimes people post on "Events" and are slaughtered for it. From time to time they are shown to be correct. Just because you dont like what has been posted doesnt mean its wrong, lies, made up or trouble making.

Onwatds and upwards. Thank you for your efhorts Steve Gill. Things are in a better place now thanks to you. Good luck in tge future.
