RW took money OUT of the club?!? Or are you just referring to his salary.

How much are his shares alone worth?

Question mark of how those shares were ever granted.
I understood it was in lieu of salary .
The shares are worthless as Fulton’s have 70%.
I do not think RW as been to a board meeting in years.
There are 80.000 shares and the value after selling WR would just about clear the debts.
If a new ground is given then the value is 125 pounds each.
That clear?

I'm not always a believer in no smoke without fire but the rumour mill is going into overdrive at the moment with Cas. The only fact I can rely on is our performances so far this season and those have certainly been more in line with a troubled Club than one that had just had the best season in its history.

If (and I'll stick with if for now) Steve has left, why hasn't it been announced?

Is everything based on the Hardaker situation and what is actually happening with him?

The shares aren't worthless in terms of getting him OFF the board are they? Or does it not really make a difference.

If someone else got 30% of the shares, legally where would they stand in terms of ownership or authority.

RW was paid a salary and a good one whilst he was CEO as far as I know.

Only Fultons have pumped money into the club to keep us going and thats loaned against the ground for when its sold so its protected

RW and Fultons have enough shares between them to make it impossible to have enough to do anything by anybody else. They have the controlling share so whatever they say happens

I'm posting as a Moderator to hopefully stop any potentially libelous comments.

To clarify, Richard Wright took shares in lieu of wages for nearly all his tenureship as ceo.
As Robbo has rightly pointed out these are virtually worthless now - with a nominal value of 10p - due to the reissue which gave 70% control to Ian Fulton. Richard Wright voted for that.

He also has a significant loan to the club.

So basically your saying that Ian Fulton has full control of the club, so when it comes to any type of vote what he wants goes ?

And - IF , the new ground comes off, the old girl wipes the debt off and the shares are worth a few bob !

If someone what’s to buy in.....

So, the club ain’t going to change hands because you need a majority to have any say , and also there all going to drop on there feet with the value after the new ground is bobbed on the balance sheet.

It would be really nice to see the vision for the club the owners/ shareholders have for the next 10 years.

That’s a question I’d have if I was going to front the challenge, what’s the aims and ambitions....

Bit frustrating, like a lot , I was a bit apprehensive how we’d come out of the blocks !

Let’s hope things are cleared up n we can give hull more than a good game !

He probably was I was away but I did say BOARD meetings.

Is correct there is a loan in the club from RW.
Never really sure how or from where but it was mentioned by JF at the time we were trying to buy RW out.
I am not sure and cannot comment on the wages and shares issue
My understanding is the shares were for one seasons wages.
6000 shares which were 10 pounds each at the time.
On the other point about RW voting for the remaking shares to be given to the Fulton’s , I guess he felt he had little choice ( I guess I don’t know )
Ian had threatened to Liquidate the club ( when I say Ian please remember Ian and his Sister ) and the loan made by his father became due upon his death.
This was a change ( hotly disputed) from previous agreements that Jack would be repaid from the sale of WR.
I asked for a copy of this new agreement and who signed it because it was written not long before Jack died ) clearly whoever signed it knew we would default on Jacks death.
I have to date not seen the agreement.
I and a few others voted against him but clearly we were in a minority.
Ian was in my opinion going to make sure people like me could no longer force a EGM to have a meeting.
I would have called his bluff as others were out there wanting to re pay the 2 million if push came to shove.
Meanwhile RW was no longer invited to a board meeting.
Pretty shambolic TBH
I am sure others can fill in the blanks but this is as written in notes taken at the time.

He’s always said he will sell if someone wants to make him an offer. The shares are actually worth very little but all those people have put hardearned in.

RW has not put money in to the club, far from it. He had taken hundreds of thousands out and all under the watchful eyes of Jack Fulton for very little in return. This is why we were a 2 bob outfit. Unfortunately we are now maybe a ten bob outfit thanks to tbe current BOD.

Without DP we would be nowhere near where we are now.

I believe CM has answered this on the next page but RW has loaned money to the club, and I believe it was at the same time as JF and also when Ryan McGoldrick did too but I could be wrong on that front. I was under the impression that he'd converted this loan to shares but I may be wrong on this account too (judging by the post on the next page).

Some may have a difference of opinion on RW and his time at the club but he cared enough to put his own money when it mattered, as have all the other shareholders. They didn't have to.
