Moving on
Come on Cas fans, what's done is done, we need to - as a club - move on. Please read and tell me what you think and if you agree. https://uk.blastingnews.com/sport/2018/ ... 75773.html

Re: Moving on
How do you know he wasn’t dismissed sooner?
How do you know he hasn’t done something else?
You also seem to be a bit naive in terms of the procedures that have to be followed to dismiss someone. It’s not a quick process if done properly following ACAS guidelines.
And how do you know there is no way back? Powell has said there may be a way back for him when he has served his ban. Wigan sacked Hock but re-signed him when he was available to play again. Who says we won’t do the same?

Re: Moving on
The decision to sack Zak was pretty much after he tested positive. He was never going to play for us again. By all accounts, DP thought hard to keep him and make him work for his place, but powers above were having none of it. FACT.

Re: Moving on
I've heard the same as Heritage , that Powell wanted to keep Zak and Gill sacked him. From the same source that told me about Zak meeting Wigan representatives weeks before anyone else posted it .

Re: Moving on
wonder if we delayed the announcement of his (zac) sacking to co-incide with the good news about the ground. a good day to bury bad news and all that.
