That being said, given the last few games we are more likely to see Massey on the bench and Foster starting at prop.

How do you know? Clare hasn't played in a league game yet, Jy has and we got hammered.Tigerwood posse wrote:Can somebody please tell me what is wrong with Jy?? he is a gazillion times better then bloody Clare!!

We won when Jy played 13-12.

I agree though. Let Clare prove himself before getting on his case.

I'd stick with Massey starting. I think Foster has a little more impact from the benchHuddsTigers wrote:That being said, given the last few games we are more likely to see Massey on the bench and Foster starting at prop.

Agreed. I'm still confused as to why we signed him, but he's here now and has a chance to show us why.

Not necessarily about leaving anyone out but one thing we didn't do last year was rotate, keeps players fresh and stops complacencylurcher wrote:powell said clare is going best of the 3 in training. I'd like to see green given a run but who do you leave out?

Definitely this. Leeds do it often and always seem to peak at end of season. Even if it means losing a few throughout season.the machine wrote:Not necessarily about leaving anyone out but one thing we didn't do last year was rotate, keeps players fresh and stops complacencylurcher wrote:powell said clare is going best of the 3 in training. Re: 19 for Salford
With the greatest of respect i have watched him play for Halifax and i wasn't impressed, Jy is quicker off the mark, rarely drops a pass and has excellent defense, he beats Clare on all 3 of these skills/attributes, i also think that Jy brings a little bit of the X-Factor to the table, he's just got that something extra, i don't believe Clare is in front of Jy, i wont have it [-X [-XStevieTheTV wrote:How do you know? Jy dropped two sitters in a game we hung on to win 13-12?

Re: 19 for Salford
I put a ? because I didn't see the game, just what was reported afterwards. Any road up, it appears that Clare has overtaken Jy in the pecking order for some reason. In fairness to Clare he apparently went well for Leigh in the qualifiers last year.
Re: 19 for Salford
I'm still scratching my head to wonder why we have signed 2 players on our overseas quota just to let them play in the Championship. What a total waste of wages & quota spaces. I mean one of our quota players appears to be our 5th choice winger, and here's me thinking we wasted a spot for 2 yrs with Mongahan.
