Tigers Launch TV Channel

https://www.castlefordtigers.com/article.php?id=5897
Tigers TV will feature pre match interviews, match highlights, post match reactions, and full replays of Castleford Tigers games, as well as fun content, archived games and the all important one, breaking club news!
£5.99 per month
£59.99 per year

Season ticket holders get a free month.

Seems like a great move to me. I can't imagine as many people bother with DVDs these days as technology has moved forward.

sounds like a great idea, but i was hoping there would be a free preview to give people an idea of what we are paying for?

Season ticket holders are getting a free month by email any time now (1pm) apparently.

Perhaps at some point they might offer a free week or something to non-ST holders.

Great idea, i would happily pay £5.99 a month to watch the games back, infact i would happily pay £5.99 a time to watch away games, most i can't attend due to work commitments.

£60 for a season pass, on demand home and away seems a great price, for those of us exiled away!

It's not a TV channel as such. It's more like a Netflix style service. So you would need to access it via a web browser through a computer or a tablet.

I have signed up for the free trial and it seems like a good start but unless they add some commentary to the full-matches I don't think I will be subscribing beyond the trial. I was hoping they might have added some graphics and commentary over the video but it doesn't seem that way so far.

If you have a smart TV you can also watch it through the Web on that.

Mainly through your phone or computer though.

as long as there are plenty of exclusive content like videos with the players, coaching staff ect I'm happy to pay £5.99 a month for something Cas related.

Hope no plant pot decides to pirate the content. Think about the club before doing it.
It’s a long overdue and tremendous initiative. Opens up so much!
I’d open up a suggestions section if I were them, on the kind of thing we’d like to see.

Just a random one for example games of mr & Mrs, or a documentary/interviews with folk leading up to past big games, 94, 86 etc. That type of thing,

Depends how long we have to wait to be able to watch the match, if its same day you could just avoid seeing the result then watch it but if its not guna get replayed for a couple days be bit of a pain.

Great initiative.

Can I receive the service here in Australia as I have problems trying to watch BBC video as I am outside Europe?
