Not sure that could have been a lot worse or more difficult.

Leigh Salford looks tasty, depending how Warrington and their coach treat the cup, that could be tricky.

Well all I know is I'll be betting on saints whatever the handicap. I truely believe it's a match we can't win, you may disagree that's fine. I of course hope I'm wrong but they are our bogey team for a reason. We hardly ever beat them.the only slight blessing is we are at home.

Why? Cup games are generally poorly attended now plus chances are it will be the Saturday afternoon game on bbc I think we will do well to get 9500 there

Bogey team maybe but we’ve won 3 out of the last 6 times we’ve played them plus an away friendly and including two knock out matches last season. Tough yes but in no way unwinnable.

Will be nowhere near. From memory, we pulled in less than 6,000 last year, when we were flying!

Was hoping for St's as sick as that sounds.

We owe them for that match at the start of the year. we are at home they are beatable leeds(who we beat) Wakey(who we beat) have shown it can be done...

Bet they didnt want us either....put 80 mins in and next round here we come....have faith the boys have a point to prove.

A good draw, the 2 favourites and its at home and probably on tv.

Interesting that leeds get another championship team, lol. They got to the semis last year without playing a decent team. They play Widnes with them having a full first team injured and pull keinhorst from getting cup tied. Nice.

You’re spot on. My daughter’s married to a Saints fan and they didn’t want us either

Not unwinnable but not ideal. Home game better than away that is for sure but still not the team I hoped to face.
I do reckon Saints wont be relishing it either tbf.

On the bright side, if we win this game I would fancy us to win it!

Every game we play is definitely winnable whoever we play. We aren't yet playing at our best but Saints probably are. We can and will improve and if we get to anywhere near last season then we can beat Saints and possibly win the cup.

Play like we have been at times this season and there is no need to book hotels in London come August.

If you had to put £100 on the result of this game who would back Cas? Who would back Saints? In current form I reckon more would go with Saints. But this is a 1 off cup game and anything can happen. Would happily lose £100 to get through.

if anything happens to Barber or Robi so they cant play in the match it will even its self out, Robi didn't play against Wakefield they turned them over, I don't want any of their players to get hurt but a tummy bug would be great

I think we all know who the MoM will be!

Anyway, time to right the wrong of the opening game of the season, let's entertain the BBC audience.
