I think its still possible he could come back to Cas ! I am sure there will be some communication with him before he signs for anyone else .. we've not signed a replacement yet

so we sacked the best full back in the game who we had only recently paid £150k for and he will only miss a season, in effect the same as if he’d seriously done a knee ligament. To cap it off the way it’s looking we may still be bedding in a repleacement full back when he makes his come back.

Very much doubt he is going to come back here. Shame but oh well.

If anything, I think the verdict vindicates Cas’ decision.
It’s clear from the judgement that his mental health issues prevent him from making rational decisions. As such, it’s inevitable that he’ll screw up again. Next time, it can be someone else’s problem. I wouldn’t want to see him in a Cas shirt again.

We should also now be pursuing him for £150k. There is a clear precedent that players are liable for covering any financial loss that results from a breach of contract (Adrian Mutu). It can even be taken from his salary at source, so he could end up paying a significant amount of money every month until he’s paid back £150k. I hope we’ve still got the fighting spirit that we had in the Solomona case, as this one is much easier to win.

I had to have my say on this issue. I've criticised the club in the past, but I still believe that it was the right decision to sack him. If this was any other player, he would have been shown the door as soon he had failed the test, no player is bigger than the club and the fact that he still showed no remorse for his actions shows how much he values our club. No matter how good he is, he still ruined the end of what could have been a truly memorable season. Yes, he was vital to us getting to the Grand Final, but the fact that he cared more about taking drugs than helping his team shows the club were right to show him the door. https://uk.blastingnews.com/sport/2018/ ... 40421.html

We either get £150K off Zak or make Wigan pay the same amount for him. Why should Wigan get him free of charge next season?

Now we have the verdict out in the open - onto the next conundrum......

Why did Cas Tigers set ZH up with a job whist serving out his ban ?

I hope he has a fantastic season,is the man of steel etc then on day of grand final gets suspended for drugs...

Only then will I feel sorry for him, he ruined probably the biggest day in the history of the town with his selfishness. It still galls me now every time the rhinos are referred to as the champions. His antics seemed to have a negative effect on the start of this season too,I hope he has a long career without injury but I also hope he never ever wins anything with a team again.
