Re: Luke gale
depends really, I shattered mine but you're ok after a few weeks with pain management as you can't really damage it again with playing unless you are unlucky enough to get a bang on the same spot.

Re: Luke gale
If true then a complete nightmare. Will be 6-8 weeks minimum I imagine. Anyone know what the time frame is for playing contact sports again?old cas lass wrote:Looks like he could be out for a while, possible broken knee cap.

It will be a massive loss ok not playing as well as last year when he had zak and eden with him but i dont get people moaning about him

All starting to fall apart..... too many injuries to key players this year if this is true
We either go with Macca & Ellis with Trueman at FB which means Milner has to do 80mins
or
Ellis & Trueman and give Turner a try at FB

You make a statement that it "will be 6-8 weeks minimum" and them ask if anyone knows how long. So are you a knee specialist or not?RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote:If true then a complete nightmare. I think macca as to play 7 id have trueman at 6 and give turner at least a shot at full-backfords wrote:tigerfeat wrote:It will be a massive loss ok not playing as well as last year when he had zak and eden with him but i dont get people moaning about him

I just think trueman macca partnership would give us are best chance but then youd be moving trueman from full back and bedding another player in
Ellis done well and it proberly will be him at six

Re: Luke gale
With Mcshane, Ellis, Roberts and Trueman don't think we need to worry about Gale. Think he as been pretty poor in attack this season and kicking down the field straight to the fullback. He does put some good tackles in though and is a good goal kicker but so is Mcshane and Ellis.

Re: Luke gale
If you read what I'd said properly, you'd notice I said 'I imagine' it would be 6-8 weeks (as in healing) obviously implying I was not sure how long before he can play again. From your post I am assuming you are not a brain surgeon.Keithy wrote:You make a statement that it "will be 6-8 weeks minimum" and them ask if anyone knows how long. Re: Luke gale
Couldn't of come at a worser time with the fixtures we have coming up. Best case scenario is, we can win a few without him, keep top 4 hopes alive and Luke comes back fit and ready for the run in.
Whatever people think of his performances this year, he's still the match winner in our team.

Re: Luke gale
Get well soon Luke on his day he is top class hence his appearance for GB down under, we had to manage last year with out him for a number of games but we did OK, for me Truemen should be moved into the halves and give us a bit more flair

Just seen a video he’s put on instagram of him driving his car.

Re: Luke gale
If he's injured it will give other players a shot. The squad is there for a reason, each of our half backs are different.
If Roberts is injured the is Trueman and Roberts with Turner at FB.

Re: Luke gale
Luke Gale is all right, but there’s a bit of soreness in his knee and then he got a knock in the first tackle of the game.

Re: Luke gale
It will be
1 trueman
6 Ellis
7 mcshane
9 Milner
Hull away isn’t a game for a debut full back
Anyone know when Ben Roberts is ooc?

Re: Luke gale
Mcshane at 7. He can do a great job there. Don't lose much at half back if he plays there imo, it's just that we lose his craft at dummy half.
