If he's injured it will give other players a shot. The squad is there for a reason, each of our half backs are different.

If Roberts is injured the is Trueman and Roberts with Turner at FB.

Luke Gale is all right, but there’s a bit of soreness in his knee and then he got a knock in the first tackle of the game.

It will be
1 trueman
6 Ellis
7 mcshane
9 Milner
Hull away isn’t a game for a debut full back
Anyone know when Ben Roberts is ooc?

Mcshane at 7. He can do a great job there. Don't lose much at half back if he plays there imo, it's just that we lose his craft at dummy half.

If Gale's knee is OK, I'd still be resting him this week anyway. We have a tough period coming up, no point risking him. We have enough cover in the squad IMO.

All starting to fall apart..... too many injuries to key players this year if this is true

We either go with Macca & Ellis with Trueman at FB which means Milner has to do 80mins

or

Ellis & Trueman and give Turner a try at FB
I think macca as to play 7 id have trueman at 6 and give turner at least a shot at full-back
^
no to this keep trueman at fullback in less we invest in a fullback. macca an ellis at half's you cant just give turner a try out when vital points at stake that's what the friendly's were for and powell thought he was not ready yet . we have very Good win percentage when macca as played seven and need ellis on for goal kicking if no gale . milner is more a natural hooker then he is loose forward any way, foster at loose forward

Give Turner a chance let's see what he can do it may work out fine look jack Walker at Leeds and Goulding, maloudi or how ever it's spelt for Hull last week if you don't try them you will never know milner too big and heavy for a 9 now imo keep what settled players we have in macca 9 Ellis 7 let truey put his hand up for the 6 shirt and Turner for the 1 shirt.

If Roberts is still out for the Hull game what about:

1) Trueman
6) Ellis
7) McShane
9) Milner (Interchanging with O' Neil)

O'Neill got sent off for the academy last weekend for dissent. Sure this carries over for SL too?

In shentons interview in yep he says Ben Roberts will be out for a while.so I’m guessing it will be mcshane and Ellis in the halves against hull

It’s good to still have those options when losing your 6 and 7.and still have a natural hooker
