I hope so, I really do, but I fear he will finally have realised his entire life crumbles if he messes up again.derbystiger wrote:Probably, the smug little [Cut out the swearing]! Then again, If he messes up again, Steve diamond will probably take him on as a centre in RU!

Re: QLT signs for Cas
Looks like he’s gonna be in the 19 for Friday.
Re: QLT signs for Cas
Great that he's getting stuck right into it. Only Powell will know if he's really ready for Warrington on Friday. People may want Eden to play fullback again after an outstanding performance last week but if Q is up to date with our plays and style already can't blame Daryl moving Eden back to the wing.
Re: QLT signs for Cas
Any chance of extending his deal for 2018??
Re: QLT signs for Cas
Let's see how the rest of the season goes but his performance tonight was awesome in a position he hardly plays. Well done Q!Fumper27 wrote:Any chance of extending his deal for 2018??

Not much for him to chuckle about tonight... unless he’s been watching one of theTomkins videos!!derbystiger wrote:Probably, the smug little [Cut out the swearing]! Re: QLT signs for Cas
Indeed.
Tremendous debut. One of the best I’ve seen!
His influence on the game reminded me of one brad Davis, whom we all know was able to also go on well into his 30’s.
Surely QLT can’t play like that again!? Lol..
I saw nothing to criticise. Even his D and kicking game was top notch.
As it stands I’d prefer him to both Ellis and Roberts at 6/7.
If things go his way and we’re all a bit lucky and make it happen, he may have 2 seasons left after this one and become an inspired signing. I’d definitely sign him up for 2019,

Apparently due to sit down in the next few weeks to discuss an extension on his contract.

Thought he ran well with it at points amd looked lively. However, defensively he looked shocking.
Re: QLT signs for Cas
If they’re thinking of giving a 34 year old an extension to his contract then they have very little confidence in either nailing down a decent replacement or the abilities of the ones we have or have targeted.

I would be very disappointed if cas didn't sign someone better younger, stronger and faster.bane73 wrote:If they’re thinking of giving a 34 year old an extension to his contract then they have very little confidence in either nailing down a decent replacement or the abilities of the ones we have or have targeted.
Re: QLT signs for Cas
Eden was outstaning when he played full back at hkr im sure that performance wouldnt have being lost on powell hes got a great prospect in young turner and qlt who can cover the backs if he decides to keep him , people critisising his positioning on occasions playing his first game as a full back for us against wigan come on now ...
Sure powell will make the right call he usually does

"Shocking" that is well over the top. He actually looked like a fullbackRonnieGibbs'forearm wrote:Thought he ran well with it at points amd looked lively. However, defensively he looked shocking.
Hardaker is by far the best defensive fullback in England. QLT is not Hardaker but then nobody is. Let's see how he goes over the coming weeks. His age is not a problem.
cum on you Ford

Re: QLT signs for Cas
QLT as been brought in as a stop gap filling the position of full back , since is arrival he as been among the try scorers plus giving the final pass for another try he might not be the best defensive fullback but is no slouch in attack carry on like he is I would give him an extension for next year
