Callum Turner/Tonight So Far
Re: Callum Turner/Tonight So Far
Looks like we are going to have to bin/pension off Gale,Roberts,Ellis and McShane !!!! ha ha !!
These young guns Trueman, Turner, Gill, and Storey coming through are already giving the oldies some cause to worry already I bet !!
Good for competition of places though and also backup on injuries and long term strength coming through now.
Cas are now in a much better place at the moment and let's hope the doom-mongers are now back in their box on this forum !

I hope so too.

Hope we can sneak 4th position or better but I would say 4th is the best we would get this season based on current form and that's not a given.

Re: Callum Turner/Tonight So Far
performances like Friday there is no reason we cant be at old Trafford at the end of the season, if you look at some of the posts from earlier on in the season I was advocating that we should give Callum a go only for all and sundry to try and POO POO it , Watch out for my next tip for the first team Robbie Storey
Re: Callum Turner/Tonight So Far
Nice one Gateman, been a Turner campaigner myself. Really hope he doesn't get pushed back or away next season.

Re: Callum Turner/Tonight So Far
He hasn't really let us down in the 1 and a bit games he's played,2 tries and some nice conversations as well. Just wondering though, would it be worth sending him on dual reg to Halifax if/when he isn't in our 19?
The lad looks more than capable and playing in that league against some good opposition can only benefit him in the long run? Obviously, I would like to see him given a good run in the first, but when everyone is back and fit, how much will he feature?

At the moment I think Turner is our best option at full-back as it allows Eden to play in his best position on the wing.Show 'n' Go wrote:He hasn't really let us down in the 1 and a bit games he's played,2 tries and some nice conversations as well. As much as I think Hitchcox is a decent attacking winger, defensively he’s not SL level. Any high attacking kick to the corner and he’s in trouble and he’s not big enough to stop an opposition winger who gets a one-on-one chance to run over him.
Next week, if Eden is back, I’d be going with a back-line of:
FB - Turner
RW - Minikin
RC - Foster
LC - Shenton
LW - Eden.

Isn't Turner off for a calf scan? Might not be fit for Sunday.

Someone said the reason he went off Friday was because of his calf.

He went off with 10 mins ish to go because of his calf after dropping the up and under which led to Charnley's try.old cas lass wrote:Ah right. Not seen that.MØL wrote:Someone said the reason he went off Friday was because of his calf.
After the hooter he came back on the pitch and he had ice strapped to his calf.
Not much chance he plays v HKR.
Hoping Webbo and Eden are back.

Yeah saw him go off after the dropped ball, didn’t realise it was through injury.RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote:He went off with 10 mins ish to go because of his calf after dropping the up and under which led to Charnley's try.old cas lass wrote:Ah right. I’d send him out to Halifax for rest of season.
How slow is he as well

Yeah he had a poor game. He won't be going anywhere though not with our injuries.
