season ending id say both of them, unless they are very minor tearsHuddsTigers wrote:Torn bicep - 4-8 months in the worst case scenarios, according to one site. Could be missing for the rest of the year and pre-season.
Torn hamstring - Grade 1/2/3 - 4/8/12 weeks.

Thanks for the replies. Hoping they aren't to bad. I was hoping for a nearly full squad going into the 8s but it doesn't seem near that.

Really bad news about cook if true, he's been just about our best prop this year in my opinion, don't think he's really had a bad game.

JSL ? who knows
So what we get back on one hand we have lost on the other unfortunately.
Ideal world we would be getting them 3 back and not lost the 3 on Friday. Then we would be in great shape
Re: Jake trueman.
Didn't McMeeken just miss out on the 19 squad for last Friday. Might be back for Sunday.

Re: Jake trueman.
McMeeken will play if not this week, then next game. Roberts and Gale will play majority of super 8s. I bet Jesse is back in game after next and Millo, will def play again this year (that is a gut feeling).fords wrote:But missing millo, cook, foster, minikin, jy for every gameHuddsTigers wrote:With 12 weeks, should be back for the final.

Re: Jake trueman.
Whatever happens from here on in, I'm proud of the club and the way they've battled away in adverse scenarios. We had a lucky year with injuries last season, that enabled us to flourish and settle and we've gone the opposite way this year and still maintained a top 4 place despite everyone writing us off.
We've had good games and some damned bad games. That's sport and that's life. I'd still rather be a Castleford Tiger than where Widnes, Leeds etc are.
We need to forget the previous 23 rounds when it comes to the Super 8s, press the reset button and see this as new season starting. Lift the intensity, get into teams and start making teams fear us.
