Steve Gill - New Keighley GM

Post by HuddsTigers » 23 Jul 2018, 17:59

Just a point - not sure if it's actually completed yet but Steve Gill is in talks with Keighley to become their new General Manager.

Best of luck to him up there, I say.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!

Obviously he didn't do it by himself, but if he had refused JF's request to become Chief Ex., we'd have gone. The fortunes changed when he took over.
Good luck Steve, I'll always be grateful.

Surprised by this , thought Steve finished at Cas to take it easy and retire.

If the Keighley gig is true - good luck to Steve. He deserves a chance to lead a struggling club to better times and get the satisfaction from doing it - hopefully...

If true I'm pleased to hear Steve has recovered from the position he felt when deciding to leave Cas! ;)

Couldn’t care less what he does or doesn’t do. I just wish people would stop banging on about him being “The Saviour” of the club. DP is why we are where we are because had we had a poor side we wouldn’t be in SL now for mine.

Clearly things were fed to fans again via the fake news I mentioned. Director?? How many meetings has he attended?
Also the guy involved at KC was he not in dispute with the club over some money issues?

Will be interesting to see what and how the spin doctors play this one!
As I and others said months ago the fans were told a pack of lies and a face saving pathetic agreement written.
All goes back to who is running the club ?

Give it a rest Robbo
Different topic same old bile.
Take the matters up in the boardroom not a fans forum.
You do act like a petulant child.
As for me Good Luck Steve the offer of a drink still applies especially as you will possibly passing by the door on your way to Cougars.
