he turned saints offer down because he thought if he showcased himself at leigh he could get a better offer from other clubs. just my opinion.

His best. Game was in champion bash but its hard to judge at that lower standard ashton looks good in championship just pointing out a team pushing for top four would make more ambitious signing s or get left mid table in the future. good point but they have also signed more ambitious players to complement them not another load off championship players its about getting balance right

Warrington - more ambitious. Akauola and Roberts as an example this season? I’d rather have Mitch Clark than the former, and the latter has been average all year despite the high salary he’s commanding.

Proof in the pudding that signing big name Aussies doesn’t always pay off and you can get someone just as good for significantly less cap space.

Lewis played full back during his junior days at normanton but its a whole different ball game even at 19s rugby even more so the way we play.cracking winger and finished.however I believe Lewis as only signed a 1 year contract and not the 2.

Very gritty performance from the 19s who were severely depleted wining 20-22 at hull and got absolutely nothing from the ref.
