Re: Quota Spots
Are we making any ‘quality’ signings though.fords wrote:Unless we let QLT go at the end of the season our Quota is full.

Especially quota players.
Imo if we do any more business I think they will be British/European.
QLT would have to go if it’s an overseas player.
Re: Quota Spots
Only one I know so far is Lineham
Personally I would let QLT go and use the other one on a centre.

Re: Quota Spots
Pretty sure I read that there is no clause in Gelling's contract.
He will play for them in the Championship if Widnes go down.

Re: Quota Spots
It's based on where the first so many years are spent in development/training. Not sure of exact time frame.MØL wrote:Question: Would Gareth Widdop be classed as non fed?derbystiger wrote:^^ Yes, still counts as non fed

Re: Quota Spots
You have to spend 3 years before the age of 21 to be classed as Federation Trained, or born here and played here all your life.
British citizenship no longer gets exemptions from non-fed status.

Re: Quota Spots
Cheers Hudds. So Widdop would be on a quota list having moved to Australia at 15/16 . Bet many think because he was born here and plays regularly for England that he wouldn't be.HuddsTigers wrote:You have to spend 3 years before the age of 21 to be classed as Federation Trained, or born here and played here all your life.
