Anybody know who we will play home and who we will play away if we win tomorrow

Finish 3rd and we have:

Wire, Huddersfield, Wakey and Catalans at home

Saints, Wigan and Hull away

Overall, I would be happy with that.

One aspect that the squad don't need is another trip to France in the heat

So we have avoided France either way.
I think 10 point cushion on them plus CC distraction puts them out of the running.

So how do we all think we’ll fair in them games.
Should beat hull and maybe Catalans. if hudds take there eye off the ball now they are safe then that’s possible for us, though after last week and hudds on a roll I think it will be difficult. Saints, I’ll leave that.

Wigan and wire can’t see a win for love nor money, maybe the CC might distract wire.
Wakey, we have the voodoo sign over them so a hard fought win.

If Gale is back and one or two more troops don’t see why we shouldn’t have a shout against Wigan or Wire. We’ve beaten them both this season, in Wire’scase away with a very patched up squad

Do we reckon most of the fixtures are gonna be Thurs/Fri night games again or will we get some weekend fixtures this time?

I think fourth gets us a trip to France - which is best avoided!

Any ideas on this?

Be glad to see the back of Middle 8s, at least I can plan when and where the games are again then!

Great position to be in, but as this season been our worst under Powell quality wise? Still don't think we have played to anywhere near our potential ( yes we have had injuries but we had them on a similar scale in 2016 but played at a much higher quality) so just hoping we start firing on all systems as we go in to the 8s.

I think the quality may be attributed to the injuries with have had in our back line/pivots this year compared to 2016 (I’m sure someone with a better memory than me will be able to compare the 2) add the full back issue and it’s unbelievable we’re still in with a shout of 4th let alone top 2.

This. In 2016 our long term injuries weren't in such pivotal positions and we made good use of loan players like Tickle, Patrick and Flynn to cover the gaps.

That said, in 2016 we never really had a sniff of the top four, despite winning 5/7 in the 8s.

So you could argue that this season under adversity has been a decent one.

Sometjing to be borne in mind is that the more success you have as a club, the more it costs you to retain your players, leaving less on the cap for recruitment.

In DP we continue to trust.

Announced on Wednesday at 12pm

If we win tomorrow it looks like we play
Home:
4, Warrington
5, Huddersfield
7, Wakefield
8, Catalan

Away:
1, Saints
2, Wigan
6, Hull FC

Sure hoping we play Saints and Wire either side of the CC Final. (guessing both will get there) Saints week before would be nice then Wire week after.

Seems a bit odd that finishing lower down means we don’t play the top 2 away? Finishing 3rd gives us a more difficult run in with Saints/Wigan both away.
