Super 8 fixtures

A lot will depend on when/how the fixtures fall.

If it favours us we will get:

- Teams in 5, 6, 7 & 8 when they mathematically can't get in the top 4
- One of the losing cup semi finalists in the first round
- Both cup finalists either side of the final

Knowing our luck it will pan out the opposite of that!!

Given the "every minute matters" mantra the bosses came up with on the Super /middle 8 launch they will try and make it interesting fixture wise. Maybe give us Hudds home then Saints away to try and give the former a sniff.

Just remembered dates for games for Hull,Hudds & Wigan will have to be worked around football fixtures?

Finish 3rd and we have:

Wire, Huddersfield, Wakey and Catalans at home

Saints, Wigan and Hull away

What does fourth give us?

Home: Hudds, Hull, Catalans, Saints
Away: Wigan, Wire, Wakey

So we have avoided France either way.
I think 10 point cushion on them plus CC distraction puts them out of the running.

I think fourth gets us a trip to France - which is best avoided!
