3rd it is.
After an injury riddled season, we have finished 3rd.
Great effort from the boys.
A 52 24 win today see us win our final game of the regular season.
Bit perturbed about letting the worse attacking team in the league ship 24 points in against our defence.
Plenty of work to do in that department.
So now the real work begins.

2 weeks get some body’s back no playing with niggles. Could see 2 grand finals in 2 years. Who would have thought it.

Im guessing they will have a few days off...then need to hit those tackle bags. There's a chance to get back to O.T...its there if the players want it!old cas lass wrote:After an injury riddled season, we have finished 3rd.

Re: 3rd it is.
How did new lad peter go?
Re: 3rd it is.
Got to cut out the mistakes I agree ocl scored some great trys tho for people to watch ...I'd give Greg Eden my mom I called him last week and wish I hadn't he had a off day scored two near full length of field interception trys today our attack looks so much better when he plays
Bit worried about our new signing he played well after a shaky start but went off with 20 mins to go and didn't come out to clap the fans at the end unless I missed him hope he's ok

Who’s the bodies TT apart from gale.TT Tiger wrote:2 weeks get some body’s back no playing with niggles. Could see 2 grand finals in 2 years. Who would have thought it.
We know foster and cook have gone for the season.
Millington and Webster, millington as played all season, Webster rested so can’t include them.
I think gale will make a hell of a difference, better organiser, will or could take him a few weeks to get up to speed.
If we can keep all players fit, then a semi final spot could be up for grabs.

Re: 3rd it is.
I’d take the defensive side with a little pinch of salt. We are playing on the iPitch. Players may be nervous about committing in same way as they do on normal grass, through fear of injury.
We were also missing a good chunk of players again (Minikin, Webster, Roberts, Gale, Cook, Millo, Wardle, Foster, Hitchcox + Springer)
8 first team players arguably, 7 of which would probably be in the 17 and Wardle/Foster who would have to contend with likes of Holmes/McMeeken for back row.

Like I said Webster as been rested to day not injured, there’s minikin as well. Do you think we’ll see Roberts and wardle.
Re: 3rd it is.
If we get back to full strength in the super 8s bar Foster and Cook I think our line up should be:
Peter M
Minikin
Webster
Shenton
Eden
Trueman
Gale
Watts
McShane
Jesse
McMeekan
Holmes
Milner
Millington
Moors
Clark/Massey
Wardle/Roberts/QLT
This team could easily do damage in the super 8s and play offs. Let's just hope for a bit of luck on the injury front.

Re: 3rd it is.
If all fit that is a quality squad and gives us a chance of finishing 2nd. There is no reason why we can’t get back to OT this year?
Re: 3rd it is.
Qlt had his best game for us attacking wise couldn't see if he was at fault for owt in defence...one of trys he scored try of year contender
