Re: TONIGHTS GAME
Pathetic is the right word, honestly. Only Mitch Clark has really shown he cares in this match. Watts is a passenger nearly every game, a waste of money so far.

Was shoulder contact. Couldn't see any elbow.TheSheriff wrote:Leading elbow into the head of an opponent.the machine wrote:Bateman off? Give overTimphall wrote:What is going on, Child is up to his usual standard, Bateman should be off but Vas look clueless.
Wigan also scored off the back of a tackle in the air followed by a ball steal, got away with a 2nd ball steal and then got a penalty (which they scored off) from a knock on.
Cas have been a joke - no more mid season booze ups please and Child is the joke he always is.

Poor attitude, pathetic tackling, schoolboy mistakes and players that aren’t good enough. Not a sniff of a GF appearance this season folks.

Re: TONIGHTS GAME
Against Catalans i defended the players - everyone has off days.
Against Hudds i was miffed, they thought it was won at 12-0 and lost focus, but i wasn't too worried because the 8s were coming and i hoped that they'd step up for them.
Now I feel theres no excuses.
This game is a crucial one if we have any intention of winning a trophy this year - a home semi final slot, and crucially tonight-
confidence and momentum is at stake.
They've been utterly dreadful. Gill looks like he's never played Wing before.
The 8s are going to be long and painful for us.

Milner put his head in the wrong position simple as thatTheSheriff wrote:Leading elbow into the head of an opponent.the machine wrote:Bateman off? Give overTimphall wrote:What is going on, Child is up to his usual standard, Bateman should be off but Vas look clueless.

MIlner never moves his head! Bateman raises the elbow on the ball carrying arm into him.the machine wrote:Milner put his head in the wrong position simple as thatTheSheriff wrote:Leading elbow into the head of an opponent.the machine wrote:Bateman off? Batemans arm doesn't move until after contact as been made, and was shoulder not elbow

Re: TONIGHTS GAME
If James Child isn't fixing this game he's incompetent - either way he shouldn't be employed.
As crap as Cas have been, without Child assistance, Wigan would not be winning.

Re: TONIGHTS GAME
The first half did us, our own mistakes not the refs, some calls didn’t go our way it happens.
Re: TONIGHTS GAME
Really??? Best player for Cas tonight for me was Watts. 34 tackles in the first half. Over 60 in total.Leeds tiger wrote:Pathetic is the right word, honestly. Only Mitch Clark has really shown he cares in this match. Watts is a passenger nearly every game, a waste of money so far.

And Wigan win because James Child doesn't know what a high tackle is

Wigan scored 3 trys off the back of James Child errors.old cas lass wrote:Lost it in first half. Not by one penalty.TheSheriff wrote:And Wigan win because James Child doesn't know what a high tackle is

As bad as Cas were Wigan only won because of Child being a cheating little so & so.
First half he gave Wigan 2 scrums on blatant ball steals and then gives them a penalty for a knock on - they go on to score that set. They tackle a Cas player in the air the tackle before one of those ball steals too.
Not to mention he only took them back 7m or less the entire game.
Re: TONIGHTS GAME
First half cost us big time. Absolute dire. Vast improvement in the second was nice to see.
Never one to bash the officials but how James Child is still referring in Super League is beyond me. Two dodgy decisions gave them the 4 points in the second half.
