Re: Jake Webster
I was hoping we could find him a back room role when he finishes. The route Liam Finn is taking could be similar.
Re: Jake Webster
Let’s hope jakes last game ends with a grand final ring.would be the icing on the cake
Re: Jake Webster
Signed for Bradford according to totalRL & league express.
Interestingly it says the Tigers wouldn't comment when asked about the move.

Being a top player for us , always had time for anybody who wanted to talk to him , good luck at Bradford
Theve picked up two players who played in last year's grand final from us both will do well for them

Re: Jake Webster
i wonder what direction we are going in then : -
However, the Tigers are set to move in a different direction next year, and, as revealed in League Express several weeks ago, that alerted the Bulls to Webster’s availability.

Re: Jake Webster
I can understand people's thoughts as he gets older but have just read the Email and I'm nearly blubbing. Think I'll check the £/€ rate. That will bring me round...
To finish last in the Tour de France, first you must finish.

Re: Jake Webster
A great player and a great man. Will be missed. Not many things Millward got right but Webbo was one. On and off the field a total pro. Bradford will get real quality at that level.
We absolutely have to replace him though. Can't go for cheap. Need high calibre. Shenny is not getting any younger. Robbie Storey not an able deputy yet. Minikin possibly a centre but we need a power 3 quarter in my opinion.

Re: Jake Webster
all the best big Jake you have pulled a number of games out of the fire when its been needed we will find him hard to replace no doubt DP will be on the case as i write
Re: Jake Webster
The easy, and probably the popular, decision would have been to give Jake another year. But, DP is clearly constantly planning for the future, not just the next game or block of games, and not just for the 2019 season, but for the long term. Putting in place an ethos and slowly building a squad, bringing in younger players. Giving players an opportunity to play for Cas in super league and getting rid if they do not hit the necessary standards. Jake has been great for Cas but the ball will now be passed to a younger man. DP must have someone lined up.
cum on you Ford
Re: Jake Webster
Gonna miss the big man so much, he has been simply magnificent for us and I thought he was past it when we signed him! Hope he sees all the love people have for him, he has certainly left his mark here as a person and a player and will surely go down as one of the best imports we have ever had. Wish him nothing but success. He will be like a man possessed come the knock outs!

Re: Jake Webster
I’d say he’s been one of the best surprisingly good signings we have ever made, never expected he’d make it to over 100 games with us when he signed.and only one or two of those could be considered poor games .ill miss seeing him play for us I really will, but I can see this will be a good move for everyone. Bradford get a super league quality player, we free up cap space and a quota spot (I think anyway I get confused with quota stuff) and Jake gets to continue in a less demanding league. Good luck Jake!
