Full Back

Greg Eden is not a full back and we also lose a try scoring threat on the wing.

Get the thing with Zak, he let us down, but think he will come back to haunt us at Wigan.

Can't for the life of me understand why we haven't gone out and recruited a quality full back.

The people we have tried to use are not that!

In attack it makes such a difference because they can decide where to join the line.

In defence they dictate everything.

We signed 1 from Leigh. He will play at full back once we get some bodies back.

We signed two full backs. They are both injured unfortunately.

I'm sure we've had this thread. Over and over again.

Yes we need a fullback. We've signed a couple, one who is a little past his prime, one who may not be the quality we need, both are injured right now so the point is moot.

If your question is why have we not signed Billy Slater, Darius Boyd, Tuivasa Sheck, or anyone else who could equate to a Zak Hardaker of the world, the answer is simple: Our small town club does not have the cash to buy one of the top 5 fullbacks in the world.

But you knew this. Because its been discussed, at length, for nearly a bloody year now.

Bottom line is this: Eden should never play full back. And after his post-match comments, I'd be surprised if Powell gives him the chance again. With hindsight, Clare should have played full back on Friday, or even Turner.

Eden is awesome when he gets a yard of space; something he rarely gets playing at 1. Give him chance to think (case in point being that ridiculous kick when we were in a good attacking position in the first half against Wigan) and it doesn't end well very often.

Eden has the X-Factor on the wing. He's X-rated at full back.

He said ' we had no possession and finally we get decent possession near there line and Greg Eden decides to kick the ball just wow ' don't know if he also mentioned his positioning which was also just wow ...

The current situation is as simple as this, if we were playing dominoes we'd be knocking...

Says he's heard Toulouse full-back could be on his way which would make sense we asked about him earlier in season but he wanted to stay at Toulouse I can see that happening
