Information wanted
What was our record score against Wakefield? I remember we absolutely pummeled them but can't find a date or the score. Not surprisingly it's not listed in their records. Back in the 80s I think.

That game was a week after the merger plans came out. On the Friday we beat Fev away comfortably and their was a joint protest / pitch invasion at half time. Then that walloping of Wakefield on the Monday.

I seem to recall we missed loads of conversions which, thankfully for Wakefield, kept the score respectable

That is correct, I was at that game. I think Steadman was on the bench so we didn't get many conversions until he came on
