Yet again Sky MOM "expert" thought Matautia had a better game than Watts. Love to know what the RL legend watches.
It’s very rare that any of them watch the big forwards

Exactly. Remember 'Leeds Tiger' saying 'Watts is a passenger nearly every game, a waste of money so far.'

It's like the Massey debate because people don't see the in your face effort, an assist in a try or a massive shot. Everything else goes unnoticed.

I only said that because prior to last match in my opinion he was, Ive never said the same about other forwards, when people bag Maher I sit back, defend the lad sometimes, my problem was that watts was underperforming massively in my eyes, last night he played like the player I thought we were getting from Hull, here’s to many more matches like it.

Been great for weeks in my opinion and will continue to get better as he beds into the team. That pass from Millo to set him on a break following by an offload back to Millo just made me happy, when you have props supporting breaks like that you are onto a good thing!

Still think this so called legend is stevo, there's always a hooker or 2 in the 4 and normally a half back or full back!

Still too many mistakes in Wattsy' game at minute to be considered by Bennett.

Because his game has fallen off a cliff as he's too concerned with throwing a forearm or elbow into the oppositions face whilst on the ground

Watts on the other hand seems to be keeping clean and putting in some real graft atm

I can accept the mistakes and penalties Wattsy's been making since he's been with us, simply because he looks like he's trying too hard to fit in. You've got to remember, he's come from an Hull team who have no attacking structure whatsoever, a simple 5 drives and a kick routine, which he's been used to for however many years he was at Hull. Radford used him as a battering ram, an enforcer - which earned him a reputation he probably will never shake.

Wattsy has probably never had so much freedom to his game, like he has now. He's gone from a 20 minute spell bully, to an 80 minute ball handling prop, who can blame him for wanting to try and make the most of it. Admittedly, he does go abit OOT sometimes, but imagine what kind of player we will have when he gets a pre-season under his belt and DP and staff can fine tune him.
