Sticks has been superb in the last couple of games and I personally wouldn't drop him but he must have known when he was signed that he wasn't necessarily first choice and it is up to DP to decide who his strongest starting 17 are. If Minikin doesn't go well then Sticks will more than likely be back in.

Should be other way round, Minikin will get his chance if Clare messes up having made the most of the opportunity presented to him and made it his spot to lose

I'm not Minikins biggest fan compared to some people on here but it is Minikins position. Clare knew all along he was just a fill in option. If Minikin comes back at his normal level he will get his spot back.

Because we have to pick 19 and drop 2. Will is, and should always be one of the 2 based on what we have.
Can't see him in RL too long, not a dig, just doesn't seem to have anything that makes a decent player for me.

More likely Sharlos thought process. Gadwin, Wardle, Cook, Foster all injured so Maher next in line.

i'd play webster, he scored 4 in the corresponding fixture last year. just kept running straight over the top of miller. this rain may slow the pitch down though.

I thought Maher played quite well for Halifax v Widnes in there last game, agree though he should only be used when we have pretty bad injuries

chester claiming in an interview that he's only got 17 fit players. looks a strong squad though so apart from fifita and johnstone the other injured must be fringe players.

Think Wakey have been pretty lucky on the injury front this year.

Had an OP and is back in Oz so no worry of him coming in at the last minute.....But it would be funny if he did. :D

Imagine thinking about dropping James Clare when he has been head and shoulders above Eden all season. Why does Eden just kick ball when he is scared about getting tackled, useless under high ball. He is alright 10 meters out with an open space.

It's all bluff and bluster from Chester. When you look at their squad depth it's only the same as ours. Wakey have a reserve team as well as an Academy to fall back on as well. They have (and Jinger will correct me if I'm wrong) several players who have first team squad numbers but have hardly played this year like Hooley, Baldwinson, Kershaw, Wray and Ackroyd.

Injuries are partly down to luck. Seen a lot of acl injuries recently and they are innocuous. Oggys looked worse and it's a 2 Weeker.

Fitness plays some part as does muscle mass. But mainly its down to luck.

Yeah I'd go with that. I think the reason CC has made a thing about numbers is that the players missing are all regular first teamers, Fifita, England, Johnstone and Hurst all make a difference to Trinity. Maybe just maybe we shouldn't have let Mason Caton Brown leave, he'd have slotted straight in for Johnstone
