Danny Hargrave.

Post by old cas lass » 28 Jan 2019, 10:43

Just seen a post on twitter put on by spencer, that Danny as passed away.
Great little scrum half, part if the 70 winning team.
One of my favourite players back then due to his pin up boy looks.
Condolences to his family.
RIP Danny.

Didn't Eddie Waring refer to Danny as the George Best of Rugby League?
He was a good player.

I was at Wembley when he played and my heart went out to him, he had to stay on the pitch while the players went for their winners medals because substitutes were not allowed to go up as only 13 medals presented. R.I.P. Danny fond memories of your time as a player.

HI everyone, just had to create an account to reply to you guys who have posted. Some very kind words and it means a lot. We are trying to come to terms with his sudden death but reading posts like these help.

Sad news, many happy memories of watching Danny play. Was known as " Danny Stocking Tops" due to his great tackling technique. RIP Danny and thanks for the memories.

Thoughts are with Danny's family and friends.

You all should be incredibly proud of him.

RIP Danny. You wore the famous colours with skill and pride.

God bless.
