Re: Injured list
Don’t think season over for jesses, could be 12 weeks or so.
Rankin, Cook, foster surely have to be close.
Millington could be 4/6 weeks.
Holmes no idea as with Ellis Shenton, gale will be lucky to get back any time this season. Thought I’m not writing him off just yet.
These are just my guesses not facts.

You can't avoid injurys you just have to have a good enough squad to cover
I've seen people say saints are lucky they play the same team every week Percival out six weeks Scarsbrook about same Thomson 4-6 weeks

Wow 3 injuries halfway through the season! Such struggletigerfeat wrote:You can't avoid injurys you just have to have a good enough squad to cover

If Cas were only missing Shenton, Massey & Millington and only over the last few weeks: the equivalent 3 players and time to who saints are missing then Cas would likely be top of the league.

Re: Injured list
So did a lot of other clubs. I'd like to see all clubs full strength. Then you know how good a coach and players are.tigerfeat wrote:We went most of 2017 season without many injuries

Re: Injured list
Gale season.
Ellis has been described as "long term" without any timeframe.
Rankin and Foster can't be too far off. Both were expected back earlier in April so unless they've had setbacks, they shouldn't be too far away.
Jesse I think will be out a few months it seems - 12-16 weeks seems to be the rough guide on physiotherapy websites
Cook, Massey and Holmes nobody knows but I'd hope Massey was precautionary for the game on Monday to have him fit for Saturday.

Re: Injured list
Holmes was suspected torn meniscus which if true either is gonna be a clean out 6-8 weeks recovery or a repair 12+ weeks. That’s just my knowledge of knee damage from personal experience.HuddsTigers wrote:Gale season.

Spoke to foster on Friday he is struggling with the injury and doesn’t know when he will be back

Re: Injured list
I agree mate, maybe Thompson more equal to Watts. The half backs are the difference, when Fages and Lomax play they're a different beast. 1 game with both missing and they looked clueless against Catalan.TheSheriff wrote:Wow 3 injuries halfway through the season! Re: Injured list
Powell's summary of the injury situation:
* Shenton - ankle injury - getting a scan but it 'doesn't look great'
* Moors - not looking great either
Scans coming up for Jesse, Holmes, Foster - none of them are "looking great" and we'll get some more detail in next few days
Cook - looks a little more favourable - just have to wait and see when we get detailed information in the next week
Blair - everything shut up for Easter and no idea when he's coming. Hopefully will be this week or the week after but not certain.

So in summary, we're rather screwed.

Re: Injured list
What were lacking in quality we have to make up in hard graft and enthusiasm.no point feeling sorry for ourselves or in 6/8 weeks our season could be over.pull together do the basics and see if we can pick up a few sneaky wins to keep us in contention till we get trickles of bodies back and maybe try to get to full strength around July/August

Couldn't make it up, we sign a new player for centre which was long over due then our other main centre becomes injured, leaving us using same players we've used all season to cover the other centre position.
Got to be due a bit of good luck soon.
